To be fair this doesn't prove anything. As editing films myself, I would have done the same thing if the first shot I had was better than the second one.. Think about it!, it it was fake, than they could have simply rugged the machine and filmed it blinking twice a hundred times! They wouldn't need to edit it to make it fake..

The took the cheap way out & just showed the same shot & if you edited as much as you say, you could see it's the SAME shot.

What probably happened is that when he got the first response, it was caught on camera and very obvious to the audience. But when the second response was given, the cameraman could have been out of position or it wasn't as distinct a response so naturally they had to edit the footage. There's going to be a production aspect of any thing that needs to be edited (GA included) it is the responsibility of the viewer to determine whether or not he/she believes the footage's intent to be deceptive.

@ultimatetubetime they aren't faking evidence, if they were then they would have been able to make this "disco wand" light up on command more than once. I have never once said that these guys have never or will never fake evidence. Simply because I am not a member of the TAPS crew. But if you come at this sort of thing with the mindset that they do, then it becomes easy to discount the production value of it by making every simple edit or retake another example of faking evidence.
@ultimatetubetime and just out of curiosity, have you ever watched the show? These guys are very apt at attempting to debunk a claim before they prove it. They rarely call a location haunted unless the evidence is there. And the fact is that you can post as many videos as you want to try and discount certain pieces of evidence but unless you have solid proof that every bit of evidence they acquire is fake, than you come out with less credibility than they do. That's why this show is so alluring.
Ghost Adventures is also fake. They faked all 3 evidence videos they showed on Maury Povich. The cast was definitely unaware that the "supposed flying brick" video was staged at the time, but it is more than obvious that it was staged. It is sad, but I have yet to see a paranormal television show, where they have not been caught staging or editing evidence. They only exist to make lots of money.

Um, except as shown in the first shot the camera zooms out and pans up on Jay. If the other investigator asked the question right after that there would be no documentation of it because, and this is crazy, the camera had zoomed out and panned up. I'm finding less evidence of gaiety and more people thinking that tv cameras are magic.

i was a huge fan until a video of one of the halloween investigations proved it was a bunch of crap. the hood of Grant's jacket got pulled several times by an unseen force but his hand was always in his pocket when this happened. his hand being in his pocket dosen't mean that anything fishy was going on but the end of the video showed the hood getting yanked but Grant didn't notice it and Jason was looking directly at it but didn'y say a word about it. @ultimatetubetime Yeah, I bought one of those, you press the button to turn it on or off and every time it turns on it flashes all the colors like that in that order, full then half as it is testing itself. The button is easily pressed and you can see his thumb move downward lightly for a reset. It's very hard if not just about impossible for a ghost to set it off even after trying it out multiple times, it wouldn't respond that much as easily, the most I got from spirits were barely 3 lights

You can clearly see Jason pushing down on the k2 meter wih his thumb. For anyone who actually owns that exact model of the k2 meter (me), you'd know that applying preasure to the botton area of the k2 meter will cause it to flicker. This isn't just fake because it's the same scene, it's fake because Jason is pushing the botton for the light to flicker. Also using a walkie talkie will cause the k2 meter to fliicker. So they can do that from a distance without touching the k2 meter.

The k-2 meter registers the exact same sequence of lights to get to the yes answer.But you can't see the camera pan up or down because the two k-2 scenes are in clips. They have already been edited. I also don't see the camera angled down toward the thumb,but I'm not a camera expert. TAPS started out okay then greed got to them. They weren't getting enough evidence because of how they investigate,2 many cameras 2many sound men.So TAPS was told to fake some evidence so ratings would go up.

What probably happened is that when he got the first response, it was caught on camera and very obvious to the audience. But when the second response was given, the cameraman could have been out of position or it wasn't as distinct a response so naturally they had to edit the footage. There's going to be a production aspect of any thing that needs to be edited (GA included) it is the responsibility of the viewer to determine whether or not he/she believes the footage's intent to be deceptive.

I have never once said that these guys have never or will never fake evidence. Simply because I am not a member of the TAPS crew. But if you come at this sort of thing with the mindset that they do, then it becomes easy to discount the production value of it by making every simple edit or retake another example of faking evidence.

@ultimatetubetime and just out of curiosity, have you ever watched the show? These guys are very apt at attempting to debunk a claim before they prove it. They rarely call a location haunted unless the evidence is there. And the fact is that you can post as many videos as you want to try and discount certain pieces of evidence but unless you have solid proof that every bit of evidence they acquire is fake, than you come out with less credibility than they do. That's why this show is so alluring.

Ghost Adventures is also fake. They faked all 3 evidence videos they showed on Maury Povich. The cast was definitely unaware that the "supposed flying brick" video was staged at the time, but it is more than obvious that it was staged. It is sad, but I have yet to see a paranormal television show, where they have not been caught staging or editing evidence. They only exist to make lots of money.

Sorry but the K2 is not a "toy", but another type of EMF detector. In short, if there is anything around that gives off an electro magnetic field, it'll go off. Hence it's purpose. However, if you use it in an investigation and there is nothing around to cause it to go off then it could support evidence of paranormal activity.

Um, except as shown in the first shot the camera zooms out and pans up on Jay. If the other investigator asked the question right after that there would be no documentation of it because, and this is crazy, the camera had zoomed out and panned up. I'm finding less evidence of gaiety and more people thinking that tv cameras are magic.

@ultimatetubetime Yeah, I bought one of those, you press the button to turn it on or off and every time it turns on it flashes all the colors like that in that order, full then half as it is testing itself. The button is easily pressed and you can see his thumb move downward lightly for a reset. It's very hard if not just about impossible for a ghost to set it off even after trying it out multiple times, it wouldn't respond that much as easily, the most I got from spirits were barely 3 lights

You can clearly see Jason pushing down on the k2 meter wih his thumb. For anyone who actually owns that exact model of the k2 meter (me), you'd know that applying preasure to the botton area of the k2 meter will cause it to flicker. This isn't just fake because it's the same scene, it's fake because Jason is pushing the botton for the light to flicker. Also using a walkie talkie will cause the k2 meter to fliicker. So they can do that from a distance without touching the k2 meter.

@MMflik I stopped watching some time ago so I searched the episode.
Yes. there are two glasses on the bar, then one, then two. This is yet more poor editing. Fans will just say the edit is out of order, and that the one glass scene should've come first. but if that were true then the audio would be out of sync which further proves they were using the second glass as a prop & it's why the ice moved in that glass.

The k-2 meter registers the exact same sequence of lights to get to the yes answer.But you can't see the camera pan up or down because the two k-2 scenes are in clips. They have already been edited. I also don't see the camera angled down toward the thumb,but I'm not a camera expert. TAPS started out okay then greed got to them. They weren't getting enough evidence because of how they investigate,2 many cameras 2many sound men.So TAPS was told to fake some evidence so ratings would go up.

Hey, Well i saw this on tv and i noticed the camera angle change.. which is tilted down towards the thumb.. which means you cant see movement as easy, if they kept the same angle you would see the thumb dip. Oh well ;)

First of all, if ghosts are human beings, who would sit and flap their hand in front of a box to light it up in response to a bunch of stupid questions.
TAPS is a 'reality' SHOW. Just like any other TV show, they have crews, sound guys, do editing, etc. Think about it, how come you never see the camera guy climbing up into the attics, yet they're magically there when the so-called 'investigators' are climbing up. Do you ever see them? Only when they're in the script! ;)

So what, they used a clip more than once how do u explain the k2 spike number 1? Or everything else they've caught. I've analyzed the images on their catches. The pixels are the same on the ghost and the area around the figure, it's one video.

@Snglemanband the K2 is FAKE. It IS the most polluted paranormal toy they use. It is easily contaminated by walkies, (off screen). It has been proven over & over &...their images are enhanced. you see what they want you to, just as they do with the k2.trust me the k2 is short for KROCK TOO.
This episode was purely done for sensationalism. they could never replicate these "findings," in broad daylight or with the lights on under supervision.

its so funny how people say that they reused the shot of the K2 going off just because it would "be easier for viewers to understand" or that "they didnt have the camera on the K2 at the time so they reused the shot." thats like saying im on a show and i catch a chupacabra on video with my camera. I walk around a lil bit more, say "omg i saw it again!" then i show the exact same footage i got from the camera. its idiotic. ultimatetubetime knows what hes doing.

@chaz4bammargera YES! The clip IS the same. Fans say, they missed the 1st response so the replayed it as a 2nd hit, which means they faked it (MORONS).
All they did in editing was use the SAME clip to appear to be a 2nd hit aka FAKING IT.
They can't claim REAL but FAKE it. That taints ALL evidence because you don't when they're faking, which is ALL THE X! Since season 1.
I'd hate to be these guys when it's their time to go, cause the afterlife's gonna' be HELL!

@NateLaing The K2 which this is not (truly) were 1st invented to read levels of high RF aka radio frequencies for radio station transmitter workers/climbers. Radio frequencies, at that intense amount for workers on/around & climbing towers especially when overexposed for great amounts of x can cause cancer.
The toy they use is good for one thing only. Forgery. It is easily manipulated. Combine that with tight yet poor editing & dark scenes & grade schoolers could've created a better fake video.

okay for one this guy might just be a hater and he could have edited this video EASILY. second maybe they just used the same "yes" clip because they didnt catch it on camera on that last question. and third what other show on TV is more believable than ghost hunters? on all the other shows shit loads of stuff happens in one episode. on ghost hunters they have episodes where almost nothing happens, which is how it is alot actually. ghosts are people. and if a ghost doesnt know u it might be shy
