  • NEVER TAPE ANYTHING TO A DUST JACKET! (INSIDE OR OUT!) Adhesive tape ages poorly and can stain the surface to which it is adhered, pucker that surface or otherwise harm both the binding and the jacket. Spend the bloody money on non-backed mylar without glue tabs. It is critical for resale and conservation that the dustjacket not be damaged. This guy is simply WRONG about everything. He makes a potentially valuable book decrease in value by a minimum of 60% by performing these so-called "tips"!
