I built mine almost the same as the one shown in the video, except no middle hanging piece. If you tweek the lengths by one to be more condensed towards the middle of the bridge it will work. Anyways thanks for the design it helped alot.
this works, IF YOU DONT SEND THE TRAIN IMMEDIATELY. the bridge is wobbling around at start, this force sums up with the weight and thus, the bridge crashes. Let the bridge calm down and THEN start the train. It will go across easily.
Thanks eluko79! and vennith! This is a challenging one. The key is the first triangles are not full height. And the arms running up to them are almost straight. Worked great when i moved things around to a more flat and straight shape like eluko79 and vennith.

That hanging piece you mentioned is actually really important. If you watch it, it does eventualy stretch out into a straight line. At that point is it moving the point of tension away from the point of compression, making the bridge that much stronger.

dude, that didnt work, your missing two supports on that middle zig zag section at the ends. When you put those in and get rid of the hanger, it works.

Probably because I replaced the cost of the wobbly with finishing the central triangles so that it stretches the entire distance.
