How do you use the time trick to get a weapon with certain attributes and a heavy weapon in Xtreme Legends since you need to load original before playing it with the Xtreme features, or do you use the time trick in the regular DW5 and then load it to Xtreme Legends?

@hamahama23ify In DW5, Zhou Tai has the worst ground musou. High tier characters means short mean stage completion time with consistency of surviving and fast offense if maximization is the goal. That is more accurate viewpoints. Almost identical to DW5CMG's point of view. I mean, come on, this is not a tier list of ppl's favourite characters.

eg) In Warrior Orochi, Cao Ren has short reach and slow attacking speed, so Landius0228 placed him in a low tier placement. But that's a huge difference compare to DW5CMG's point of view. He mentioned that low musou consumption is a huge advantage, so he can abuse his EX charge attack without interruption consistently. Then in his tier list, Cao Ren is a beast instead of low tier.

@davidchen128 i don't play WO so i don't know but i believe you. cao ren=underestimated by everyone. also, most people don't play for maximization. i don't, i like the slow offense challenge. what when i do, i like to be accurate, and placing characters like ssx and zhou tai as top tier is very innacurate

eg) In DW3, Lu Meng's musou looks terrible, but strong musou and high musou charge is a huge advantage. He has long reach, wide coverage, and extremely fast recovery, so filling his musou as EVEN Dragon Amulet is equipped is a piece of cake. He is a typical monstrous fill, 3-musou offense. He is not too impressive, but not as terrible as they think. I would consider him as high-mid tier in DW3.

@hamahama23ify Zhang Jiao is not bad in DW3, but not too impressive. He should be more maximized with a short musou bar, but I still maximized that musou gauge. Just spam his 1st normal attack. Zhang Jiao is quite good against multiple officers. His offense is, press circle and immediately release. Don't give him Way of Musou. He is 4-musou offense. I assume that people underrate him, which I hate the most. W/ 2x attack, he can clear crowd easily, becoming another Gan Ning.

@hamahama23ify Yeah, well, Gan Ning's musous are excellent, but I think you need to give him a different weapon in order to achieve his maximization. Chain & Sickle is just so shitty. Pair him up with Halberd in DW7XL I think.

@davidchen128 i like dw3's soundtrack. but theirs only a few from dw5 that i really care for. great red spirit, gloomy shadow, and the majority of the final stage ones. but i hate most of the generic ones like swordsmen in the plain, so annoying to me now. and its an opinion type thing, based on nostalgia. like from what i gathered, dw3 and dw5 are the only ones you play (maybe dw7), so you like their soundtracks better. then other people who play like dw4, will like that better.

@hamahama23ify Yeah, DW3 and DW5 has fast fill. In DW3, SSX is terrible in that game, believe me or not? She is severely overrated in that game. I don't know why ppl worship her. She looks like the best crowd clearer in that game with her musou, but her KO rate is very subpar. She is the worst filler in that game and her musou bar is too short, low musou charge, weak damage, and short reach. That means she has 4-musou offense technically, which is very subpar.

Oh yeah, even though this setup is godly, you have to admit it is very hard to master. I kept trying this setup and I kept dying because I can't target the JC to hit very often because it hits the enemies a little too far in front of you instead of right in front of you. Also, the battlefield messages kept turning off the stupid radar map thing, which makes it even harder.

That's not a fair way to say that ZGL is inconsistent because experts can use ZGL effectively.

Before making a mistake next time, you have to see all character's maximization no matter how hard to master.

Well, I talked to DW5CMG. This is his latest rough tier list now. If you refer to stage completion time, he is about the same as the sword guys and above Sun Quan. Also, Pang De and Zuo Ci are actually above Yuan Shao and Sun Jian because they don't waste musou strikes in massive crowd. Why don't you read Liu Bei's video description? That one is sufficient already. Liu Bei's regular musou can kill playable officers consistently, so it is stupid to put him in mid-tier.

@hamahama23ify Actually, Sun Quan is the one that sucks compare to Tier 3 because his charge attacks lead to wasted musou in massive crowd and his musou ending is shitty against multiple officers. About Dong Zhuo, I discussed with him that he will end up in Tier 3 instead of wasting his musou in his latest Dong Zhuo video. He is capable of using longer musou bar. Give him Dragon Arm, Using C1 and then tricks with JC.

@davidchen128 oh i didn't know he had an update for liu bei and dong zhuo, but yea sun quan is definitely the worst sword guy, actually cao cao (forgot about him) because of weak musou and dependancy on ice. btw why is zuo ci up there? i think i remember reading that he was high-mid tier. did he have an update for him?

@hamahama23ify He revised his tier list. I discussed with him that he is Tier 2. He is a very good freezer and very fast filler and strong juggling musou, so he can kill frozen playable officers in one musou. DW5CMG's old tier list has many errors, revised one is more accurate. Did you watch Zuo Ci's video? Also, he told me that he will update Zuo Ci, I'm not sure what will be the update.

@davidchen128 yes all of that is true. but something i was thinking about today that could drastically revise the tier list, has he ever thought about doing varied musou lengths. like instead of musou 0, musou 20, or musou 40. doing like musou 10 or 15? like in the internal time trick not upgrading musou just leaving it at like 13, it seems like it could help a lot of slow fill 1 musou offense type characters, like sima yi

@hamahama23ify But that is negligible musou length difference. Also, Sima Yi with Mus20 can shave off commanders or buffed officers' health more. His musou has inconsistent musou strength. As you know, Sima Yi is the worst filler in this game. Yeah Sima Yi is terrible in DW3, DW5XL, and DW7/XL, and WO/2/Z.

i noticed that with this setup you're only using half of the musou to kill the officer unless you dismount them with it. a more effective approach with zhuge liang is to have this exact setup BUT on the weapon replace musou with speed. because of his shorter musou bar, and faster escape to do JC. the fill 20 would just fill his musou. and one full musou bar would kill a playable. and for dismounting, just use his jc. this new setup would cause zhuge liang to be even more consistent

yes Zhuge Liang should be clearly the best. This is because his EXCESS musou damage can actually be used in this stage because all the officers are buffed up.

Aside from being superior offensively, his offense style doesn't really change much because of how safe it naturally is, since it's distanced combat. Other characters that are normally good in typical scenarios with close combat methods will have problems arise in Mt Qi because of multiple mounted officers, and hordes of archers

A Speed increase of 20 or so is something that is more of a necessity than preference.

But even if I had a weapon tricked out with ideal stats including Speed+20, Whether or not the Speen Scroll should take priority over the Ginseng is still a good debate.

well i did a little research on Zhuge Liang and found out that he actually died on a campaign, mid-battle. Jiang Wei (Zhuge Liang's successor) built a wooden statue of Zhuge Liang and placed it on the head of the Shu army. Sima Yi thought Zhuge Liang was still alive and retreated.
