@Jesusismyonlylove77 it depends! if you are normal weight losing 1 or 2 pounds a week is A LOT! but if you are overweight or obese you lose weight a lot faster as your body wants to get rid of the excess weight as it is not healthy
@gac621 you are already underweight, at 5'8 you should weight at least145lbs and thats to be just barely in the healthy section because right now you are in the underweight/very unhealthy area and if you become 95lbs or god forbid any less you will die, trust me at 5"8 and 125lbs you should NOT be trying to loose weight!! not trying to be mean just dont want a girl who is already too skinny thinking she needs to loose an ounce!
I am not trying to be mean or negative if this is real...but I just can't buy that you bought a book telling you that food and eating more makes you lose weight...you do this for however long...and you lose that much weight...IDK...but if it is real...then i'm envious...if it isn't, then I must say...I'm bit ashamed of you right now...LOL! jk jk but seriously...congrats if this is real! Now...I mean I have to say you look awesome after...but I also have to wonder...I heard under one of these weight loss before and after things that people post pics of them back when they were skinny before they gained weight and claim that that is their after picture and them now after they've gained the weight is their before picture...so this pic could be of you back a few years ago maybe you've had kids since then or something...
@gac621 if u r 5'8 and weigh 125 pounds then losing 30 would be unhealthy. im 5'4 and way 134 lbs and i look about average. ur weight sounds perfectly healthy if not better
just to let everyone know that it is possible. the whole thing about losing 1-2 pounds a week is crap. My mom lost 20 pounds in the first two weeks alone when she started. it all depends on exercise. good job!

@ameanimallover800127 Not necessarily. First of all everybody loses weight in different ways. For me I can lose weight super fast if I want because I have an athletic body type. As long as you're not restricting calories and working out 4 hours or more then it will be fine. The key is to lift weights and you will see the difference. The key is to be losing body fat.

I'm currently trying to lose weight for my sister's wedding in which i am a bridesmaid, so i wanna know how you were able to lose the weight? and don't listen to these people, you look TONED not unhealthy. you can tell the difference between skinny and toned, and ur stomach looks defined not skeletal (which is what it would look like if u were unhealthy). i admire you and this is great inspiration! <3
I think you look awesome. Yes, there is a correlation between fat and type 2 diabetes. Exercise alone s not the answer. Fat increases the resistance of insulin and eventually a person with excess fat may become suffer from type 2 diabetes. I do however think you lost the weight rather quickly... but you are not too skinny as some have insinuated
seriously, you look better with the weight on. women should naturally have curves. instead you american women do everything you can to be thin because the person on tv tells you you should be. do what is natural not what fashion tells you to.
it's not only about looks man.....i was tired all the time and had no energy as well as my mom and dad both are diabetic so my doc recommended me to lose weight ....it's not only about looks but about health but comeon I do look better as well and I get compliments all the time and a local newspaper has published my story to inspire others that it can be done ....it's not about fashion its about feeling good and yes i agree there are lots of ways to feel good interior and exterior both are imp.
Look, I weigh MORE than I used to, and I'm healthier now than I've ever been. Five years ago, I couldn't even walk across a mall, now I'm walking two miles to work every day. I'm not at risk for diabetes, and my blood pressure is at the level of someone two-thirds my weight. It's not about WEIGHT LOSS, it's about EXERCISE. If that exercise brings weight loss, fine, but you don't NEED to do it with that expectation.I'm sick of people thinking they're mutually exclusive, because they aren't.

just to let everyone know that it is possible. the whole thing about losing 1-2 pounds a week is crap. My mom lost 20 pounds in the first two weeks alone when she started. it all depends on exercise. good job!
