I always loved this little scene - the music, the sequences of shots, everything. I think this is when it becomes much clearer that the entire 'Day Off' was about getting Cameron to let go of the tension that was plaguing him. I don't think Ferris intended to destroy the car at the end though, but it was a good extra push!

I can relate to Cameron. Growing up I was always afraid of making my brothers mad. But then with some encouragement from my friends I made a goofy advertisement that was shown to the whole school. Of course that really pissed off my brothers, but then when everyone else told me how funny I was, I felt so proud. Then I had this music playing in my head when I made another goofy advertisement. No doubt my brothers will hate me for it. But "I want it, I'm gonna take it. That's it." =)
