I'm quite fond of this version as it's the first one I heard, but nothing beats the German one. Not even the very-close original English.

Side note: Carlos Petrel (R.I.P.) dubbed Scar, Shere Khan, and Lumiére, among others. So hearing Lumiére sing with Scar's voice is somewhat unsettling :P

@xlaronx27  its called adaptation, some times the same words tranlated rigth away sounds stupid in other languages. Thats wahy you have to adapt them. Unlike the Spanish castellan version, they translated like it is said, and it sound just plain stupid in spanish

@xlaronx27 Never heard of process called "movie dubbing"? You can´t just throw Google-translated text unto audience. It´s not anime or something. It will never make any sense, cause more than 70 percent of word-plays and metaphors will go past the people in different countries, it will also create a confusion to voice actors. You can´t read everything you can write.

That´s why while translating a movie or song, text is being adapted to the language and country of dubbers.

It´s standart.

@RiseNoSaigen Авжеж :) Тут я мав на увазі, що процес перекладу текстової інформації (тобто, субтитрування) та процес даббінґу - це геть різні речі. Те, що можна написати й прочитати, інколи неможливо вимовити.

Плюс, питання адаптації. В оригіналі, Скар співа: "Я знаю, що утримувальна сила вашого мозоку є такою-ж ненадійною, як і дупа свині." Але вочевидь, так не перекладеш :D Люди не зрозуміють...
