I don't think you will be proven wrong here. It's too bad to since exp is so drastically reduced with all of the skipped battles up to this point. BoC will be the only thing upgraded for the Siren battle I believe.

I called it Apollo's high jump because an integral part of it is the Apollo's Offensive.

Even if you roll right next to the horn, you can't see the R2-sign of being able to blow the horn. This may mean that the "horn data", e.g. the cutscene loading trigger of blowing the horn is not available before the fight. Much like the "bull wheel"-rotating option is simply not available if you get to it too early.

And since that cutscene is what is needed to teleport Kratos at Pandora's, skipping this fight is probably not possible. Nice job with this skip, makes things at least 10 seconds faster. And it looks amusing...

Yeah, I tried the obvious stuff like Rolling, Hermes Stomp, etc. to the horn when I did my old run and the R2 icon never came up, but the trigger zone always froze Kratos and I thought that maybe that could have been a factor for the no R2 icon. I wanted to be sure by moving around the trigger but even that didn't work.

I'd like to note that you can do the whole fight from under the platform. I found it somewhat humorous.
