  • this is great

  • Perhaps one of the most thrilling pieces of music ever written!!

  • 1:22 through the end is magnificent. One of my favorite musical finales ever.

  • 1:20 to 2:50 is my favourite part of the whole music. In a special way it makes me think about the future.

Its really nice to hear it in Civilization IV. I hope it will be in Civilization V too.

  • 3:30 is totally Matrix style... fucking film composers, they dont have own ideas!

  • @HelgeSchneiderFan2 This piece of music definitely came out before the Matrix...

  • @Arnall1011 Just what I said! If you hear some Star Wars music, you could think it`s a peace of Shostakovich... But the most know Star Wars better than Shostakovich, so they think John Williams is the genius... nope!!!!

  • great piece of music

  • Thank you Civilization 4 for introducing me to this fantastic music. Best game, best music. Period.

  • I have this recording and it is probably one of the most listened to Adams I own. But, I wanted to see a video...

  • Thanks for posting this. I love it at 3:51 when the low brass comes storming in. My favorite Adams piece.

  • carlos miguel prieto conducted a very amazing version of this last month at Sala nezahualcoyotl (mex) with Orquesta sinfonica de minería
