Our national language is Finnish, the children start studying their first foreign language (mainly English, in special schools maybe German or French) on 3rd grade (they're 9 years old back then). When 10, we can choose a second foreign language When we Finns turn 13 and move to the second stage of our comprehensive school, we must start studying Swedish if we haven't started it earlier. When 14 you can choose you third foreign language. This in regular schools.
