hello fellow canadian.

i have a heavy foot and i put this car through its paces so the fuel economy i get is not the greatest but still respectable...the onboard computer tells me im averaging around 19 mpg. around 16 on roads and 23 on highway.

its not the most fuel effecient car in its class...but 310 hp and 350 n*m torque comes at a cost.

peppy engine+ great 5 sp trans+ 0-60 in less than 6 seconds+ great handling/traction w/ AWD+ sporty and sexy look+ decent interior = satisfaction

This is the best car in its class, it has value and features than any other cars in its class, i mean you get 330hp, great interiour and exterior design, at the max with the AWD version, its only $38,000. g35 has nearly identical performance to g37, it's cheaper, has 4 doors and seats 4 adults and 1 small person and there's more usable trunk space. I'd take the g35 sedan. I think the g37 is a bit ostentatious and is not as fast as it looks but thats my opinion. I'd take a Mustang GT over the G37 coupe but the G35 sedan is a great value.

I agree 100%... I too have a 07 G35S sedan (black)... I think my wife is actually jealous of my emotional attachment to the machine.. I leave the house with no destination in mind, just simply to drive it. It still turns heads and raises eyebrows everytime i demonstrate a quick burst of power.. I even gave a brand new Camaro SS a run for its money last week (i had a bit of a jump on him, but it took him a minute to pass me), the old man driving it was seriously impressed. I love it!

adding to what yeehaw said, when you drive in the lexus IS250 (and yes I've test driven one already) you don't really feally feel that you're going faster, but with the G35.. all I can say is oh my god it just feels so great driving it if you can forgive the road noise. But I don't know if I can compare the two because their engines sizes are completely different

So IS = comfort and g35 = performance

i believe Infinti will succed much better on the Uk and ireland markets as we are more open to new prenium brands than continental europe.however nissan will need to give infiniti a diesel for these markets for a long-term future or a smaller petrol a 2.0

My dad hated when they came out with the '06 and '07 cause we own a G35 '05 Sedan and the '05 had a major fishtail problem! Now you get more horsepower and it doesn't fishtail for the same price that we paid! But we love our car anyway!

Next year it will come to Europe officialy, so I wonder whether they will succeed. Cadillac didnt seem to achieve any major succes here in Europe. I saw a few of them, but they dont even look premium. BLS is ugly and CTS looks just too outlandish. Maybe Infiniti will be better, but it has to work a lot until it can be compared to Audi or BMW.
