  • Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.

  • I meant Im in Partial Program now

  • I am on geodon, effexor, trazadone and clonzepam. I just got off the Behavior Health floor. Im not in Partial program. I'm not sure of what exactly my diagnosis is. Something schizophrenia. I have had a seizure and have blackouts especially when there is crowds or the tension gets high. I go to a drop in center for help also. I volunteer there. That and help pick up trash. I see mental illness everyday and most of them are not like on the movies. Most of them you wouldnt be able to guess.

  • Recently I spent about a month in the hospital myself for major depression. Its the thought of what it would do to my family that has kept me a live at times. Depression a loneliness really suck. But, I'm feeling much better know.

  • You aren't alone. I've been 2x.

  • You know, its ironic you bring up the subject of mental illness. A guy at my work apparently killed himself last week.
