There is no doubt Chomsky is bright but he is also an expert at decontextualizing history in a manner that is really shocking for a man considered a premiere intellectual. I'm surprised more people haven't cleaned up in a debate with him since presenting a one-sided view of history is easy to light up. I agree we should ignore Iran but not because muslims don't see them as a threat; Sunnis in close proximity see them as a threat via Shi'ite minorities. They are simply irrelevant otherwise.
@Amunkriket All he does is breake down the controled frame of debate. He gives the logical analysis of the situation instead of the pre defined one by the US propagandamachine.
