Examples of RESTITUTION 1. the restitution of her stolen property 2. He was ordered to make restitution to the victim.

  • notice in matthew 5:23 he said gift, not a sacrifice.

why do you think he freed the animals in the temple.

even david pointed this out, david say's offering and sacrifice you do not desire or else i would give it.

also Yeshua said go and learn what this means, i desire mercy not sacrifice.

the offering we should give is mercy and love, not the blood.

  • @bendixen12 Good observation but the word used here is G1435

    δῶρον

    dōron

    do'-ron

A present; specifically a sacrifice: - gift, offering.

  • @bendixen12 I think the point is that Y'shua did not desire it (as all life is sacred), but it was necessary for atonement this is why Y'Shua's blood was required. Shalom and thanks for your comment.

  • @paulgem123

as much as i understand now, i believe it was his life lived that was the sacrifice not his death, please see Proverbs 6:15-17, then ask yourself how can God commit what is an abomination to him

  • @bendixen12 You are suggesting that the part hands that shed innocent blood, Right? So you are pointing to one verse for this case? When the Sacrifices were commanded by YHWH 1000's of times in the Hebrew Scriptures. Aren't you the one who believes Paul is a false apostle also? Let me give you another verse to support YOUR case. Isaiah 1:11 is this saying the sacrifices were not to be done. NO, it means that the people didn't follow the steps and repent before they did them.

  • @paulgem123

Jeremiah 7:21-22 (New King James Version)

21 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat. 22 For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices.

  • @paulgem123

Psalm 40:6 (New King James Version) 6 Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require.

  • @bendixen12 I understand that this is a sensitive issue that most don't understand but you have given me 4 +1 that I gave compared to 2700 references. This is why I gave the word to study out the 2700 times that it talk about YHWH telling them to do it. Could it be that the greater case is for and not against after all it happened from Noah all the way to 70 ad. There was also people who offered sacrifices out side of What YHWH prescribed as in 2 Kings 17 (they practiced mixed worship)

  • @paulgem123

you are missing my point friend, not trying to argue, but you must see by now that the scriptures contradict one another.

do not eat anything with the blood in it, how can you do that when all animals have blood in them.

    also read this Isaiah 7:14-16

this is messiah, no killing here, curds and honey he shall eat.

  • @bendixen12 Could Vs 1 be talking about Y'shua and vs. 2 be talking about John the immerser? Because John was thought to be a life time Nazarite like numbers 6:13 only would have been more strict as most would do it for a time (30 days). Also even if this is referring to Y'shua he could have also had a vegan diet. But this still does not change the fact that 2700 times it was commanded to offer sacrifices and those sacrifices would have been eaten by the Priests and the people. Much like a BBQ.

  • @paulgem123

Understand i am not offended by what you say, we are brothers and it is good to communicate with one another, I do not condemn those who do not believe like me, but it is important we help guide one another into truth.

also i do not believe that ALL of the bible is the inerrant word of God, here is one reason why

    please read

    2 Samuel 24:1

    1 Chronicles 21:1

so who provoked david, God or Satan??

  • @bendixen12 I understand on this that men had agendas and it is obvious that this is apparent by obvious contradiction in both the OT and NT. So the message has to be understood as the implied message by the overall context. Agendas could also be applied to someone who is Vegan as not wanting to believe that there was a need to be animals sacrifices because of their bias to the topic. The same could be said of a Orthodox Jew that will not see/accept Y'shua as Mashiyach because of bias....

  • @bendixen12 Whether deserved or not. Or a Christians that has bias toward the law of Moses because he has been taught like that and acts on a inherited bias toward the topic. When you see contradictions in the bible this only illistrates that 1) you are paying attention. 2) man has touched it. Therefore we must look at the WORD of God ( what he spoke) rather than just the words on a page. Shalom!

  • @bendixen12

Do you then deny that Messiah was a sacrifice for us/our sin?

  • @faxchase

all depends on what you mean, I believe Yeshua did sacrifice his life.

for the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his LIFE as a ransom.

but i do not believe his blood is what saves us, if that were true then you would have to nullify almost all he taught about forgivness.

such as, forgive and you will be forgiven, if you do not forgive neither will you be forgiven

and what you did to these you do also to me.

why do you call me lord and do not do what i say

  • @bendixen12

YOU said ; "but i do not believe his blood is what saves us, if that were true then you would have to nullify almost all he taught about forgivness" my friend it sound like you are having issues with fully believing the Bible.

I understand, but the things that you say are leading me to believe you are mixing other things into you thought process. By chance have you been reading the Gospel of peace? I have seen this thought process from others.

  • @paulgem123

i read many things, not just the bible. the bible was put together by a small group of people who decided what they felt was inspired.

go back to the garden of eden, read what isaiah say's about the new earth.

God is life, and to take anyone's life who are we to take it from any living thing?

no i do not believe the bible is the infalliable word of God.

God cannot be found in any book.

the kingdom of heaven is within you Yeshua said.

on earth as it is in heaven.

  • @paulgem123

on earth as it is in heaven,,, there is no murder or death or killing of the innocent.

so we should do like wise on earth as it is in heaven....

many blessing to you my brother!

  • @paulgem123

i have read the gospel of peace and it to is corrupted with many things that cannot be true.

but i try to be a good money changer of all things written.

  • @bendixen12 If you are vegan or Vegetarian I don't mean offense it just the facts. I have nothing against not eating meat as I am moving toward that myself. Shalom in Y'shua.

  • @paulgem123

yes my friend i am vegetarian but just recentley after coming across many scriptures. I am glad to hear that you are moving that way to.

I do not believe that the creator commanded sacrifices.

the prophet jeremiah declares that God said he commanded them nothing about sacrifices and offerings when he brought them out of egpyt.

also exodus say's God sent them quail, but what happened to those who ate.

numbers 11 tells us they were all killed with a plauge while the flesh was in mouth

  • @bendixen12 Please see the attached video at the end of this one for further explanation. of the different kinds of Sacrifices and offerings. Than you!
