I quite clearly remember hearing this in a Virgin megastore (remember those?)

They had that cd on a listening post.

Look at it...it's beautiful!

I picked it up...Rough Trade? That was the Smiths label...

"British Sea Power's Classic...?"

(They italicized "Classic"...cheeky bastards!)

At that point, I was very into Britpop so I KNEW there was no "Classic" album with this name (There is now!).

Within the 1st 30 seconds of this song I'd said to myself "I'm buying this."

I miss those days.

The first 2 tracks on this LP are very different from the rest but have grown on me

@mattdelhey I prefer the first few tracks to the rest of the album, they should right more songs like that. Don't get me wrong though, the rest of the album is still amazing
