The eurofighter just cant compete against the 22 stealth or the huge ass radar it has. But to be fair comparing a 22 to a euro fighter is unfair. Lets compare a euro fighter, f-15, and f-16. Thats a more fair comparison and may be a fun dog fight to watch.

i do agree with you, radar capabilities are more advanced and the steal is a massive advantage, i meant that the eurofighter would out preform it due to its delta wing structure, when i said out preform i meant in terms of manouvers, tighter turns etc.

The F-22's stealth, and power of its radar, would be rendered irrelevant where, thanks to each side's jamming assets, both aircraft were flying blind. In this scenario, the more 'affordable' and 'producible' aircraft would have the advantage. These attributes, I'm afraid, would strongly favor the Eurofighter.

you may be forgetting the RAF's eurofighter typhoon, the worlds most technical / agile aircraft, not to say its the best though, only a dogfight would show the outcome, and as neither would fight eachother, saying one is better then the other is pointless as there is no evidence to structure your argument, but considering the RAF / USAF are really close allies, this means we have the best two airforces in the world, working as one.

The Raptor and "Joint" fighter are turds. Thank God they stopped the raptor. Navy folks? ROFL - enjoy the replacement for the f-14... It can get to mach 1 if it tries... while trying to intercept mach 2 bombers with mach 2 criuse missiles with a 600 mile range. You would have to CAP these at 600 miles from the fleet... only having to return them 30 mins later to even see the passing missiles as the approach the fleet. I love F-15, and I really love to see a low-pass with after-burner. I have seen those low-pass at jet fighter's scramble take-off. Although it's exciting, I concern such jet sound at low-pass with afterburner may not be good for small children who came to the air-show. I think the noise level is more than 120db. Their ears may be damaged. Everybody needs earplugs.

I was lucky enough to witness 3 F-15's chasing a F-22 Raptor over the Sam Ash music store in Charlotte NC. I have no clue on earth what they were doing.. they flew right through Charlotte Douglas int. airspace. But for that split second... I felt more American than I had ever felt before.
