  • That tune holds a precious place in my heart as it was introduced to me by my older Christian brother, Russell Hersey when he was 84 years old. I was single and 31 while Russell was a recent widower. We would sing that song frequently. The day the Lord was calling us home he got too sick to get out of bed and I couldn't leave for Alaska.   • Great gig! my parents live in southeastern kentucky. I love these old tucky songs. I want to learn this on dulcimer if I could find some easy tabs for it. Keep singin your voice is fine! I have been putting up some dulcime tunes on vids myself. I am just a beginner.
