For the quality of MAC and the duration for how much their products last, it's wonderful quality. You don't have to be a baller. I do have one of those collections that you mentioned but you can do it over time and its not nearly as painful. Also, look into CCO's in Houston where you can find discounted MAC.
I haven't bought makeup since about 2002. I can't find any that doesn't break me out. Maybe that's a blessing in disguise! I didn't know the stuff costs that much now.

However, I usually have it in for 2 weeks easily. I think it is also important to make them thick. If it is thin, and you have them in for many weeks it is easy for matting to occur especially if they get wet. Hoped I answered your question.

I went to a stylist who specializes in healthy hair and I asked him about the knots on single strands of my hair and what causes it. He told me that i will have to trim my hair (which he did and I wasn't too happy about it either) and then apply a reconstructive treatment. He say my hair shafts were open and that's what causes the hair to knot at the end or "feel" like a knot at the end. He did a treatment 2.5 weeks ago and I haven't had any knots since then. So maybe this will help you guys!

MAC is nice but it is a once in while treat for me. You can return it if you want. That is their policy.

Have you ever tried Qhemet Biologics? I'm currently using their Heavy Cream and my hair LOVES IT! I put in my hair while twisting it. And My hair stays happy. Been wearing the style for 4 days now and the only up keep i do is a hair spritz of distilled water and vegetable glycerin in the morning. I still haven't found a good shampoo yet or a deep conditioner that i like...
Yup, MAC! is pricey. Some people swear by it, especially when it comes to foundation. As far as lip liners go, you can avoid shelling out the big bucks for a simple liner, and just get a cheaper brand at your local Walgreens, or Duane Reade, etc, I know I certainly do.. As far as the foundation goes, I don't mind coughing up the extra dough if it's a true match for my complexion, and lives up to all it's promises.. Oh yeah, I've given up on the knots on my ends; it's pretty much a given!

so silly LOL ...but my hair is the same. N order to keep that moisture i have to twist it, now my hair is super soft already, but i used to end up with this soft azz dry hair...ever heard of such...N E hoo i'm waitin to get the Alma Olive heavy cream from QB but they R all outta stock...DAMN but my shea butter is working and twistin and what's really crazy i have 3c/4a hair and my hair still getz thirsty like crazy goes to show hair type doesnt mean ur hair will require lots of moisture...!!!

Have you ever tried Qhemet Biologics? I'm currently using their Heavy Cream and my hair LOVES IT! I put in my hair while twisting it. And My hair stays happy. Been wearing the style for 4 days now and the only up keep i do is a hair spritz of distilled water and vegetable glycerin in the morning. I still haven't found a good shampoo yet or a deep conditioner that i like...

Yup, MAC! is pricey. Some people swear by it, especially when it comes to foundation. As far as lip liners go, you can avoid shelling out the big bucks for a simple liner, and just get a cheaper brand at your local Walgreens, or Duane Reade, etc, I know I certainly do.. As far as the foundation goes, I don't mind coughing up the extra dough if it's a true match for my complexion, and lives up to all it's promises.. Oh yeah, I've given up on the knots on my ends; it's pretty much a given!

U r too funny!! Yeah Mac is too expensive sometimes. U might have been better off getting NYX in Dark Brown. Its pretty much the same as Chestnut but I guess you gotta splurge sometimes, lol!

I love MAC but I don't go crazy. I have several of their products b/c it doesn't irritate my skin but it can get expensive. Nice vid. God bless : - )

lol yes that MAC for ya. Thats what I sai when I start using it. But they the only ones that have my shade of makeup. It taken me many years to find good make up, and yes mac is expensive but very worth it. I have a pressed powder from them that has lasted me a yr and some change. I am in the army so I dont wear make up when Im doing the soldier thing. But when I go out u know I gotta thrwo on the MAC. LOL.

Gurl i thought i was the only one yeah i almost choked when i saw the prices online lol too rich for my blood . the only way i'm buying if something i really liked My hair is the same i have to twist or section off after washing to get the moisture or else it so dry after it finish drying .
