  • 16 note is the use of double spit blow it?

  • Please play slower and more `air' between the tones. Further look at the expression from the piece first and after that the speed an the technique will follow. Further its not bad play.

  • I wish i could play this as good as you!

  • that is a nice sounding instrument. awesome performance!!

  • I love this performance. I got a Distinction in my Grade 8 performing this piece back in 1981!

    Grazie

  • Bravissimi!

  • Hermoso! Beautful! so well played!

  • very good. Thank you

  • A delightful piecce of music!

  • perfection.

  • Played this in October 1998 when I was 16. But I wish I had this level of talent...

  • Hahaha Play Back!!

Look f.i. at the last note of the first part...

  • Dear Helene, no play back , there is only a strange "not in line" between audio and video. I am the recorder player on the video and this is the true!

  • I'm playing this on bassoon for my jury....goodness this is FAST! :O

  • I'm playing this with a friend

I really like this piece and also your interpretation

  • What make of recorder are you playing in your performance? The tone is lovely.

  • it is a copy of stansby senior made by francesco livirghi

  • Loved it! I played movements 1 and 2 for a flute exam years ago. So good to hear it played on recorder as Telemann intended. Great job!

  • 非常好

  • Beautiful performing!

  • I'm playing this on flute for a music festival. Its a great pie.ce

  • wow its much faster than I thought! I plan to do this piece for solo for my freshman year (lol this year) and now i just hope i can pull it off!

  • Same here, i play clarinet though so its hard to do cause it sounds bad if you try to double tongue a single reed so I might have to go slower lol

  • IDK... before i got my flute i was clarinet and i managed a pretty good throat tounge...

tounging fast on a single reed causes squeaks yes?

  • yea, but i got some tips from my band director and he said when there is a series of 4 16th notes, slur the first two and tongue the second two...sounds better, supposedly the "proper" way and it sounds better lol

  • what if its not written that way?

especially in a slower peice like 40 or 60 ish, thats pretty slow and would be a noticable difference in articulation... especially in a pizzicato or staccato piece.

    but ill remember that.

  • I know I was thinking the same thing, but when it's this speed and there's not really any specified accidentals..I dont know, its easier and it works

  • I am useing singole tounge....

  • OMG Excellent performance! Good job guys!.

  • Excellent !!!

The first movement is my favourite part. I am impressed you can play the piece so fluently. Good job.

  • Thank you, yes you can find it searching G. Ph. Telemann - Sonata in F major 2°

  • Great performance, thanks for posting. I'm learning this sonata now, but not quite there yet. Have you recorded the 3rd movement? I find that particularly tricky.

  • your articulation and your tone are so wonderful! I never tire of hearing your performances. Thanks again for posting these.

    Marta

  • fantastic playing. i have played this sonata several times. however telemann wrote that vivace was to be played a little bit slower than allegro but i believe that you can play it brilliantly at top speed. fantastic performance

  • Thank you Marta, I am happy to give you an idea on this sonata. Saluti da Monte Compatri (a 25 Km da Roma). In bocca al lupo!

  • Very fine. Who was the builder of the harpsichord?

  • Thank you. The harpsichord is made by Mr. Claudio Tuzzi an italian maker.
