Please play slower and more `air' between the tones. Further look at the expression from the piece first and after that the speed an the technique will follow. Further its not bad play.
Dear Helene, no play back , there is only a strange "not in line" between audio and video. I am the recorder player on the video and this is the true!
yea, but i got some tips from my band director and he said when there is a series of 4 16th notes, slur the first two and tongue the second two...sounds better, supposedly the "proper" way and it sounds better lol
especially in a slower peice like 40 or 60 ish, thats pretty slow and would be a noticable difference in articulation... especially in a pizzicato or staccato piece.
Great performance, thanks for posting. I'm learning this sonata now, but not quite there yet. Have you recorded the 3rd movement? I find that particularly tricky.
fantastic playing. i have played this sonata several times. however telemann wrote that vivace was to be played a little bit slower than allegro but i believe that you can play it brilliantly at top speed. fantastic performance
Very good... Well I play the tranverse flute and I'm studying this sonate for an exibition in june... I'm not a professional player so I hope it will sound good!!! ^_^
Thank you very much... This video will help me a lot!

Same here, i play clarinet though so its hard to do cause it sounds bad if you try to double tongue a single reed so I might have to go slower lol
T6TV 2 years ago
IDK... before i got my flute i was clarinet and i managed a pretty good throat tounge...
tounging fast on a single reed causes squeaks yes?

what if its not written that way?
especially in a slower peice like 40 or 60 ish, thats pretty slow and would be a noticable difference in articulation... especially in a pizzicato or staccato piece.
but ill remember that.
Rodier1128 2 years ago
I know I was thinking the same thing, but when it's this speed and there's not really any specified accidentals..I dont know, its easier and it works
T6TV 2 years ago
I am useing singole tounge....
