I would go with the coverage that you usually so you can cover any problem areas. If you are acne prone, chances are you have semi shiny skin already so what you'll want to do is just highlight specific areas of your face such as your cheekbones. Make sure you have some shimmer on your eyes as well as a super shiny gloss!
I used Shu Uemura. I'm not sure about Cover girl but as far as drug store brands go I use a product from Wet and Wild called Megaglo sometimes to highlight cheek bones believe it or not! I
Omigosh! I LOVE the Megaglo face illuminators by Wet n Wild! Just goes to show that you have to be open to trying out all kinds of brands...never know where you'll find those gems..
OMG the numbers have actually disintegrated off my brushes, LOL but I can tell you that the foundation brush is by Bobbi brown and the powder/blush brush is from MAC...I think it's 2S(discontinued) but they have a similiar one and the white haired crease brush is from MAC as well....sorry about not being able to figure out the numbers;(

It's really very basic on this one. I used L' Oreal true match foundation combined it with a Shu Uemura golden based bronzer. The eyes are Tan pigment from MAC and the lips are just a sheer gloss from Lip Fusion!
