  • fourth verse not part of the original - Key did not write a fourth verse

  • THIS MAN IS A TRUE PATRIOT WE SHOULD BE THANKING HIM FOR STANDING UP FOR WHAT THIS COUNTRY REALY WAS MADE OF..............................THANK YOU

  • Okay, #1 the first amendment PROTECTS religion from the government, not the other way around! It's because of the twisted thinking of nutjob judges that we now enforce a freakin' " clause" instead of the law of the land. #2 Our Fore Fathers fought and died so we could have the freedom to worship however we want to. Freedom of religion, NOT from religion. You don't like my religious practices, plug your ears. End of rant.

  • 1:41 Scary eyes

  • @Soothfish The reason why the world is in such a mess is due to the absurd system we have where speculative investors govern our ecconomies. Sometimes these parasites make profit from an eccomic collapse which causes others huge misery and hardship. Alll this religious stuff and flag waving has no relevance to the problems facing the world. And you still have not responded to the anti British remarks you have made. A nation awaits your apology

  • @goatface1000 The comment was not anti British. I said that they had even worse problems then we do. Their legal system is extremely corrupt. I'm not entirely sure if it's better or worse than the US. The US does have the advantage of a greater number of semi-autonomous states.

As for the corrupt bankers, yes I agree. They are a big problem. Thing is, they wouldn't get away with it without political connections. Eliminate the lobbyists by eliminating the laws that form the symbiosis.

  • @Soothfish Our legal system is not corrupt in the sense that verdicts are by and large fair. However the average person cannot afford access to legal advice for instance to bring a civil action. We do not have corrupt judges and prosecutors as there is in America. Of course we also do not have the obscenity of the death penalty.

  • @Soothfish Have you ever been to Britain? Somehow I doubt it. You constantly slag off our great country the one who joined you in your crusades in Iraq and Afghanistan. The one who rescued you in 1941. As I have said before a nation awaits your apology. If you are too proud to say sorry then it means war!

  • @dan11009 One of the big reasons why most neo-Nazis refuse to participate in the Tea Party is that conservatives and libertarians are truly anti-racist. They oppose the unions that cheat racial minorities out of their education, the welfare system that inhibits their upward mobility, and also the deliberate attempts by certain quasi-medical criminal organizations to literally kill off blacks and latinos.

  • Comment removed

  • Tea Party has been infiltrated by capitalist factions that now control it via many non profits arms, which all eminate from the same big snake family. These snakes, who stay out of the eye of the press and cameras, would love to see all unions vanish. Thus the total exploitation of workers like the 1930's will return. War is one of their top agendas. War Merchants love war and the best war is a religious war. That is why the 911 false flag was pinned on arabs.

  • Baptists and Protestants are not Christians. Only Catholics are Christians. Baptists deny 90% of what Jesus taught. Does taking one chemistry class in college make you a doctor. Would you call such a person who said, I am a doctor eith one such class. Then apply the same standards to those who deny 90% of what Jesus taught. Baptists practice a manmade religion, which God and every pope and saint promise, is not salvific.

  • It's been a while since I've had a chance to view Lewis' videos. It just never gets old watching and listening to Lewis.

  • Jesus was a progressive socialist. He fed the poor and threw money changers out of the temple. He said "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." (anti-capital punishment) and that "I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”.. If the tea party, and this guy, actually followed jesus' word, they would never be a part of the Tea Party.

  • @smokydave It is hard to imagine Jesus getting on board with political movements. The whole concept of being sinless rules out gathering votes as a solution.

  • This Tea PArty is THE ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS. You could not have been more clear about that. We can't afford ANYTHING----but tax cuts for the RICH. GE and BofA paid NO FEDERAL TAXES in 2010. ZERO! Halliburton has 13 TAXFREE orgs in the Cayman Islands. You dont' give a SH*&^ !!! You gotta GUT US WORKERS. It's not just about money--In WI they agreed to cuts--but YOU had to SLASH WORKERS RIGHTS. You are THE ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS. .
  • @Lllburns Apparently they are also the enemy of incorrect grammar and spelling.

  • The ones who will degrade you, arrest you, interogate you, concentration camp you, exterminate you, are NOT - T party rank n file believers. T party people are about freedom & protection from the government, sound economy, a representative democratic republic where eveyone is equal before the law & all are treated equally. OUR nation has been stolen by elite ubber wealthy globalist powers who steal our wealth & corrupt many of our leaders. SECRET SOCIETYS - HIDDEN MEETINGS & AFFILIATIONS

  • Great video! Isn't it funny how the Left can take sixteen words ("Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.") of the First Amendment and twist them around to mean "seperation of church and state"!

Next thing you know is they will be telling us the Second Amendment only applies to the military! Oh, wait a minute....

  • @VigilantOutlaw but that is what it means. It basically says that the federal or local governments can not take preference over one religion or another. In another words, to stand in the sidelines

  • It disturbs me to see military insignia and items so proudly displayed in a Church,

  • He seems like a really nice man, compltely deluded but very friendly.

I'm a little tired of the "Christian founders" line, as with my nation, the persons who already lived there have been completely ignored.

Native persons never have National Anthems

Religion and Nationalism divide Humans into groups, when we are all the same. Never before in history has is been more important for us to come together to survive.

  • Yea lets make government so small that we go back to big corp will resuming polluting our water, our ground, our air. Lets go tea party.

  • Very well done, and God bless you for sharing that verse, I have never heard it and it made me cry. You touched my heart, and I felt the very feeling that song was made to convey within the hearts of man. Keep it up and don't let the hate silence your voice.

  • does anyone know what song he is singing at the begging ????

  • I loved your singing of our national anthem. Thank you. Please check out Darin Southam singing the forgotten 4th verse. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We believe in the same principles that you reiterate in this interview. I am sad that so many Baptists want to say that we are not Christians. We are the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the saviour of all mankind. Check out lds.org to understand us better, and vote for Mitt Romney. He's the man we need.

  • Does it say Feb 26 at 0:18?

    That's my birthday!

  • someday there will be no countrys only one world

  • Thank you for the original posting and this interview. I just wish that the paranoid nimrods out there would spend a little time studying our Nation's history from 1620 through 1783, the end of the Revolutionary War. Our Nation was founded on truly unique principles of a republic, with spiritual underpinnings and truly religious freedoms. We fought and died for these values.

  • @dan11009 Thanks for the comment. The tea party would likely reflect the general population's percentage of negative characteristics, but would not be in any way a safe haven.

  • @secularstupidest My fear is the tea party are just fiscal conservative who are pandering to the uneducated to gain support - If that is the case, then i think it could be bad for the conservative movement. Maybe a loss in credibility, especially with the birth certificate people etc

  • @dan11009 You are correct that the Tea Party primarily represents fiscal conservatism, which is very important in these days of bloated deficits and wrecked economies. Tea Party members are very similar to "talk radio" listeners. That is, above average informed citizens. You are referencing the more colorful and ridiculous self-designated Tea Partiers, not most of us.

  • Comment removed

  • @dan11009 Why is fiscal conservatism so bad? It has always worked whenever any administration made the attempt to do it. Remember how Clinton stalled the debt increase for a brief while? That was because he decided to finally cut the tax increases and spending! So it doesn't matter if the one doing it is a Democrat or Republican or a foreign leader, fiscal conservatism is GOOD ECONOMICS!

In contrast, radical socialism has a 100% failure rate within 100 years. Sometimes less..

  • @Soothfish radical right wing has a 100% failure rate to.... anything radical

  • @dan11009 What?! That comment doesn't even make sense.

failure rate to anything radical? WTF?!

    stay off the herbs kiddo!

  • @Soothfish your reading it wrong dumbfuck - the past radical right wing government in the last 100% have all failed as well as the far left

  • @Soothfish his point is all idealogies in their extrme fail, its pretty obvious just look at America's economy,it has failed because to many people bought into the lie of unfettered capatalism.

  • @slinkie59 Capitalism works just fine when the majority of people behave in a moral and sensible manner. The problem is that we are experiencing extreme moral degradation in America. There is a staggering rise in selfishness, cruelty, and callousness at all levels of society.

The solution to this problem can't get any more difficult. It involves training up a new ethical generation to get us out of this mess. In order to do that you need to expose the young to good teachers.

  • @Soothfish Where do you hope to discover these "good teachers" Who have proper credentials for instilling the ethics needed to correct the problem.

  • @Soothfish

STAGGERING rise in Selfishness? America is a country built on selfishness.

  • @slinkie59 I don't know what he means by "radical right wing"? When we use the word "radical" it typically involves brutal revolutions and other acts of political violence.

I am extremely "right wing" and I don't want to dominate anybody. Just the opposite in fact. To me, the words "right wing" means the ideal of freedom and limited government presented in the USA constitution. Maybe that system of government can't work in this messed up society but it's still a positive good.

  • @18busterhymen you are what you say imo, and it is our National Anthem.

  • Christianity a Rational faith? What laughable bullshit!

  • @xxksaoXX It's a lot better than worshiping politicians.

  • @Soothfish I dont worship politicians.

I suggest that people worship nothing, and develop secular & humanist beliefs.

  • @xxksaoXX Develop secular and humanist beliefs? That sounds like you are advocating a religion to me...

  • @Soothfish Then you clearly have no idea what secularism or humanism is.

  • God Bless and protect "Lewis" Semper Fi my friend!!!!!!

  • Question with boldness even the existence of a god." - Thomas Jefferson

I have found Christian dogma unintelligible. Early in life, I absenteed myself from Christian assemblies. - Benjamin Franklin

The divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity. - John Adams

Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise. James Madison

    These guys?

  • it is well documented and in print, ratified by congress, signed by the president and drafted by the forefathers of this country: THE USA IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION NOR IS IT FOUNDED UPON LIKE BELIEFS....

i cant believe there are people with iq's low enough to even believe in this silly mythology like "god" and christianity... seriously... its been proven folklore and false.

the usa will never be a nation affiliated with any religion, let alone something as silly like christianity

  • @JessOnTheRun lets see lets believe multiple eyewitnesses to the resurrection of Jesus Christ who were killed because they would not recant or believe Darwin who did not witness but taught NOTHING turned into something which evolved into a monkey and others that teach that man who went to the moon is related to a monkey. what sounds silly???

  • @Spurgeon687 multiple eyewitnesses? who? that is hearsay... in fact, it wasnt in the original scriptures, it was taken out of context when it was translated from hebrew to latin into german by Martin Luther... sorry, it goes against all laws of nature and the majority of the planet does not believe in this absurdity... just like the forefathers of the United States of America thought it mythology.

  • @JEGFTW are you actually suggesting that the calendar is American created? The calender was created well before christianity and xmas and easter are based on holidays from Pagen beliefs celebrating seasonal changes...the sabbath day (sabbath meaning 7th) is Saturday... that is why the 1st Mass begins on Saturday... Sunday came along in the 1200's.... "in god we trust" is a translation from an islamic text that the Free Masons adopted long ago, free masons were anti christian.

  • Comment removed

  • @JessOnTheRun Please don't go all Troll on me because it doesn't make you seem smart. Chill man and have a rational convo.

  • @JEGFTW They cant have a rational convo armed servicmen or not there brian washed cant think for themselves. I can just see all the hate from the progressives and liberals socialist commies in this thread. Guess what no matter how hard you try no matter what you do the idea of America will never die, the people who really know history and not what the liberals want you to know, are the true patriots.

    TEA

  • @JEGFTW

THE US CONSTITUTION: nowhere does the word "god" appear and it was done on purpose... in fact it does state> "Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion"... Jefferson took it further to suggest "separation of religion and government" as he was critical of christianity.

    The Treaty of Tripoli:

"...the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion...", ratified by Congress & signed by President John Adams in 1797

  • @JEGFTW Care to debate this more? Do your homework first. By the way where are these Judeo/Christian values you speak of? Dont you know that Judaism and Islam are more closely related due to they base their structure on the old testament and do not recognize the new? A "value" is a cultural thing....are you telling me cheering for losers on Jerry Springer, cheating on taxes, burying one's self in credit card debt, eating disorders are judeo/christain? because these are current american values.

  • @atlien991 I love you "brother". And find your comment inaccurate in my reality. You of course don't know me from Adam's house cat. It's possible every white you know has the guilt you raise, but I do not. I don't make your claim my heritage. My family worked from our own sweat. We don't owe anyone anything.

My heart is heavy for folks that have a reason to share your opinion. My suggestion is that it may be up to you and your heirs to address this situation directly without others' help.

  • Very sad to see that 55 people dislike this. So very sad of what is quickly becoming of our country, due to the PC media hoopla. He's a veteran that fought for even you liberals who disliked this page. I commend him for not being afraid to tell the world of his love of God. Why is this to be looked down on these days?

  • @pris72 Personally, I have no problem with someone "loving God", nor with them speaking of it. For me the problem starts when they try to embed it in things of State.... that's when that line gets crossed and they earn my approbation.

  • @pris72 I'm a Marine veteran of Iraqi Freedom, and I all but guarantee you if I were to tell you about my religion you'd try and shit on it. So quit lamenting the fact that people question, with good reason, such overly sentimental bullshit. Fucking sick of people like you--'conservatives', tea baggers, palinbots--acting like you're the only noble things America has, or that you can save it (when you're the problem), or that no one else loves it as much as you.

  • @BOBMAN1980 Guess we can't count on you to uphold the oath you swore to (as did I, being a retired vet). Youur vitriol towards tea-partiers is baffling, considering they want the rule of law, Constitution, and Bill of Rights to be followed by all elected officials. When the sierra really hits the fan, will you fire upon American citizens? If so, I pity you and this great nation. Please realize it's not about left or right, but LIBERTY!! Sounds like you've been compartmentalized.I'm Independent.

  • @scubarulz Again, screw your mock righteousness. . .and fuck your questioning my loyalty. You're exactly the kind of bullshit that I'm talking about. How many innocent women and children did you kill? How many times have you killed, or wanted to kill, someone for no other reason than they don't look like you? I'm 'compartamentalized', alright, to abide by the rules of justice and morality. That's it. "LIBERTY"?! For who? The Constitution doesn't just apply to white Christians.

  • @BOBMAN1980 Liberty for ALL, nimrod, even jackers like you.Look, there ain't a dimes worth of difference between democrats and republicans, it's like the WWF, or Don King, just theatre. Acting in the media like they oppose each other, then behind closed doors getting shit-faced together, laughing at us poor saps. I'm a lot older than you; and as I applaud your dedication to duty, maybe you're truly pissed that you and I were had. C'mon, man, vent your venom toward the globalists, not me.

  • @ccomb501 - Go Jackets!!

  • @brannoncpa My alma mater. Ramblin Wreck from Georgia Tech... Good times

  • In my middle age, I've realized that I am the government. I'm cynical in a much different way than @CComb501

Personal responsibility. Getting involved. "Tea party?" or "Whatever moniker you wish to give it?" OR simply "give up - and let our country and our offspring's future all continue to go to hi&&." There is a large dose of personal accountability here.

  • What's sad @eraz8448 is that "thinking for yourself" has translated into "right wing corporation of the rich". That truly is sad.

Has it occurred to you that folks that are successful, may have relied on their own ingenuity coupled with personal accountability, and earned 1) their "riches" and 2) their platform?

    Consider it.

  • @brannoncpa No white person in this country has earned his/her riches. NO WHITE PERSON. If you have advantages throughout the land of slavery, you can never say you 'earned' stuff. Whites are given favor by a racist system. White people know this.

  • Doesn't sound like any Tea partiers I know and I know a lot of them. I don't think you have met any of them and you have never been to a Tea party event. You are scared to go to one because you might join the cause and your Media Matters liberatards would make fun of you. Go to one of them and then you can speak intelligently, otherwise, you are only guessing.

  • @bambubi1 Well, yeah I have met them and I'm ashamed to say they are a part of my own family. I didn't start the political conversation with them, my Aunt just spontaniously started it with "we are taxed enough already" and it went down hill from there. My wife kept poking me in the ribs to keep my mouth shut because we were in their house so I do have a degree of respect for a person's opinion. The whole time we watched Fox. Maybe there are diferant degrees of Tea Party members but I don't beli

  • I love how all you socialeftists comment on the Tea Party movement like you know what its about. Have you been to a Tea Party event? Probably not. Its not about anarchy, its about freedom. You have no clue! Why are you scared of little old ladies, ex service men, construction workers, young families with children and just patriotic Americans of all colors and creeds concerned about the direction of the country they love?

  • @bambubi1 These are not harmless common people. The have been brainwashed by the far right,Fux news, corporations and the well to do.I have met TPs and they sound exactly like Glenn Beck.Usually retired they want to stop entitlements ie SS&Medicare for those of us under 55.They want to take oil from the Mideast to fund war, they think the govt has the cure for cancer but wants to kill Americans. They think the only young people are minorities due to abortion. OMG - get you head outta your ass!!!

  • It's sad how many people are brainwashed or raised into thinking being a republican means more "freedom" or less government. Elected republicans are all part of the right wing corporation of the rich. Corporations that buy laws and loops, so they can make more money and take yours. If you vote republican, you are a tool. Used by that 2% of wealthy. You might as well just give them all your money, your house, everything you own, and become their "slave". Hey but at least you'll have a job...maybe

  • @Eraz8448 Do you really think that by voting/supporting democrats that you're making a better choice? Do you really think that all dems are elected with public funds? Dems get millions from labor unions as well as corporate interests like BP, GE, Disney etc. Many tea party members are not republican, and those who were have very vocally eschewed the establishment. Do you think its better to be a slave to an elitist govt, or to try and elect people with values of maximum freedom and minimum govt?

  • @Eraz8448 You have alot to learn, its a two way street. There are corrupt polititions in both partys..... it sucks, I know. Here is just one example, ever hear of Rod Blagojevich? Well guess what, he is a Democrat. :(

  • @USZ71 That's why I said the "majority".

  • My political views are at least liberal. Because of that, people assume many things bout my beliefs. The free expression of religion is guaranteed and protected, but so is protection from the establishment of religion by government. I would never want to silence anyones profession of faith, but at the same time, no particular profession should be sanctioned by government. Conservatives often want government out of our personal lives, but teacher led prayer in school? Not for me please.

  • what exactly has america ever had to defend itself from asides healthy eating and environmental awareness

  • does anyone know what song he is singing at the beginning of the vid?

  • So he is really into the Nation Anthem?, he is still a little strange no matter what his religious views are. I'm sure he's harmless and don't remember anyone making fun of him for anything but his spontaneous National Anthem interruption. I'll go check to make sure, I can tell this is really important to you.

  • Marines aren’t referred to as "Jarheads" without a good reason. Well intentioned but easily led astray by the Tea Bagger party. Don't worry folks the Party will soon be over.

They think the Country will be better off with no government. Well that’s what anarchy is.

  • @CComb501 The Tea Party is not about anarchy or no government. Smaller government? YES! Limited government? YES! No government? NO, are you just crazy or badly misinformed?

  • @warrensg2001 I do adamantly disagree with the Tea Party's position on social issues like SS and Medicare unemployment, etc. But I was responding to another post that suggested "no govt". At this point the US economy can't afford to keep up the tax cuts for the wealthy. The cuts aren’t being used to create jobs. I'm afraid we are going to have to stomach govt involvement for awhile to get us out of the mess then we can do the hack job on the Feds.

  • @CComb501 So somehow the Federal Government is in charge of the US economy? Most interesting concept. "I" am the federal government. As are you. Consider letting free enterprise system do its job. I think it's a perfect answer.

  • @brannoncpa Free enterprise is what got us here. In theory free enterprise is wonderful except somewhere along the line greed was not factored into the equation. The fed govt provided bailouts (I don't know why) and now the feds are so intrinsically involved that they have to continue to intervene. Somewhere tax cuts for the rich are going to have to stop and everyone bite the bullet. Yes, they want you and me to believe we are actually pulling the strings. You don't sound that naive really...

  • @warrensg2001 The Tea Party is about trying to make a party that has no basis in politics. They let any people in, let any people with any opinions. There literally is NO basis behind the Tea Party. Trust, they won't go anywhere within politics because they don't stand for ANYTHING.

  • @warrensg2001 Your "limited" government means you are OK with corporate fraud but find it intolerable to feed the 1 out of 4 hungry children in our country. "YES" you say, "Take away their food stamps the lazy bums" "Stop giving money to mothers who should not have had so many children" "Stop giving them unemployment INSURANCE payments because they don't want to work"

I think the problem is you look up to the rich with admiration and the poor with disdain.

  • @Pennee101 So all they ever get is handouts? Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime. Those are not just cutesy words...they are wisdom of the ages. I think you just don't want to lose your free ride.

  • @leadarrows What you give you get back. If you are a stingy person you will probably never be wealthy or if you are you will not enjoy your money because it is always, "never enough". As to your comment about my, "free ride" I grew up privileged, as far as wage earners my father was in the top 1%. And I do well now. You don't have to been selfish to make money. In fact I believe it is the opposite. My parents were very generous. And it came back to all of us and I am that way to this day.

  • @warrensg2001 I was thinking the same thing.Have never heard conservatives promoting "no government" as a solution.

  • I feel bad for this guy. He wants to do the right thing but he doesn't get it.

  • He's got some blue eyes on him

  • @weetov69 wow you say teaparty members are blind followers of rush and glen beck lol well i know one thing is for sure you sure as hell know nothing about this countrys foundations or christianity . you will read a blog buy someone in liberial media and take it as fact even though you know in your heart everything they say is bullshit like EPA is saving planet when in fact they make problems worse like al gore with global warming . hey liberial go hug a muslim then tell me how that works out !!!

  • SecularStupidest - Thanks for doing this interview! Regardless of whether or not you agree with his point, he is an intelligent guy, and knows what he thinks and how to express it clearly and respectfully. Way to go, Lewis!

  • @MarkPDub It's sad (and a very telling statement) that having intelligence is considered a virtue. Nazis were intelligent. Their scientists were the key to discovering nuclear fission. I don't think they were good people. Though I'm sure many Tea Party people do think the Nazis were good, intelligent or not.

This guy can articulate his points. Good. Easier to know how mean and hostile he is.

  • @MarkPDub I agree.Lewis seems likea rather fine person.

  • SecularStupidest - Thanks for doing this interview! Regardless of whether or not you agree with his point, he is an intelligent guy, and knows what he thinks and how to express it clearly and respectfully. Way to go, Lewis!

  • America is about the Individual being more accountable unto God than unto mortals.

God is the Archetype, Architect, Epitome, and Epic of all that is the Individual.

I'm LDS (Mormon) and I do not have any intention of using Force to impose my beliefs.

In fact, it is my religion to protect the freedom of religion...so as to best serve God in his purpose, which is the Eternal Progression of the Individual and the countering of All Nihilist (youtube CULT OF KEFKA)

  • Lewis, I respect your service for our country - however I think that you need to try different avenues for trying to teach our kids things....coming from a guy who has problems putting together complete sentences but being able to sing the left out part of the National Anthem - i do think it would be worth your while Lewis, to enroll in an academic institution - and not Pat Robertson's school for deaf and blind (can't call that an academic institution)

  • @SechyoolarYOOESAY Well, that was mature.

  • @SechyoolarYOOESAY

We no longer care what you think since correlating Grammer or punctuation with IQ is not a valid position .

If you are indeed educated you would know that everyones brain works differently . If you excell in one area that is a certain that you are dumber than a bowl of grite in the other .

You may excell in retaining what you were told but are retarded in examining this information for its merit or validity .

Maybe it is you who needs a proper education .

  • When are these Tea Party people going to wake up? Watch this video and learn something.

    watch?v=yDeNBsD8iRc

Time to wake up people if you really want to save your country!

  • This patriot is amazing. It is true that when atheists say that we can't mention God that it violates our religious liberties. I love how atheists are (a lot of times) claiming to be rational and open minded, yet are (again a lot of times, not all the time) offended at the mere mention of God. They have the right to not listen, but they have no right to tell us to sit down and shut up. God bless you secularstupidest for posting and God bless this man, we need more like him.

  • @iwward1990

Nobody cares that you mention god....you can have all the bible-thumping fun you want in this world man, just make sure you leave us out of it. If you try to influence a law that might affect us, that's when we get pissed off.

If you keep it to yourself, you're fine to practice whatever you want - but DO NOT IMPOSE your religion and silly beliefs on the rest of us people. How is that not open minded and rational? As long as you don't affect us, we generally don't care!

  • @SechyoolarYOOESAY The constitution provides you no "Freedom from religion". We can shove our god-fearing noses wherever we like in government and everywhere else.

  • @iwward1990

It's the Tea Party/republican crowd that gets mad at you for being yourself. Even though it doesn't affect them whatsoever, they will try to make laws against same-sex marriage, gays in the military, abortion, smoking marijuana etc....None of these things are any of their business, however they feel the need to demonize them by legislation...

So much for the party of limited government! I don't care what people do with themselves, as long as it doesn't affect me!

  • Clearly shows how senile this old fart is.

Talks about delusional nationalistic propaganda BS.

About the "special connection" god and the U.S has.., raped version of the founders.

And this dumb ass religious bs.

Jesus fuckn christ this guy is slow.

  • AFRICAN PRIDE homie!!!!

    CHEAAAAAAA OBAMA!!!

  • G-d bless this man! He brings great fortune to our nation. Glory onto him!

  • @Elinitsam God bless this man, bless all of us, and bless the Republic. May we have the strength to overcome and defeat the forces of creeping socialism

  • After watching a few of your videos...I'm starting to wonder if maybe you have a point. Maybe progress isn't a good thing and America should revert back to the way it was founded.

Like legalizing slavery again and taking away women's rights to vote.

But definitely don't take "In God We Trust" off the money...it's better to pretend it was always there, right?

    Oh wait...brain started working again...

  • @TheHigherVoltage There is no such thing as progress only a growth of Government. Those problems weren't the Governments (they were the states/the people who had to deal with them on a day to day basis) Governments have grown and imploded as long as time has existed. Rome freed the slaves as well as giving out subsidies, passing out worthless paper notes and just about everything else our state is doing. King George tried to end slavery during the Revolution to squelch it just like Lincoln.

  • @Luigi84289 "There is no such thing as progress."

Really? So we're all just sitting around a cave right now waiting to spear the next meal?

  • @TheHigherVoltage No that is advancement. Society is cyclical not linear. Look at the greeks. We didn't start gaining real knowledge again until the mid 15th century. It peaks and then collapses due to human greed and plunder. We can minimize this if we opened our eyes and embraced freedom. Like I said just about everything we have in our society we have had before in a slightly more basic form. Even subsidies. Houses, cities, toilets, etc. All has come before. Even Governments.

  • @Luigi84289 "We didn't start gaining real knowledge again until the mid 15th century. It peaks and then collapses due to human greed and plunder. We can minimize this if we opened our eyes and embraced freedom. "

Let me cut to my position here : I am against the Tea Party because they are generally fueled by religious nutjobbery against reason and provable reality : ie. evolution, a 4.5 billion year old planet, and if there is a God - he's not talking to anyone.

    The Tea Party is nuts.

  • @TheHigherVoltage The Government can't solve any of our problems only make them worse . Women can vote now because society, the people see that it is right. Our morals as a whole are different now. If the people don't want the Government to do something it can't force them to want it. The Government can only set the people up as it's enemies and harass them and commit violent atrocities on what is. Ending slavery the way it was ended destroyed the south.

  • @Luigi84289 "The Government can't solve any of our problems only make them worse."

So...running water, electrical grids, garbage pick-up, snow removal, building roads and bridges, stuff like that....just makes things worse?

"Women can vote now because society, the people see that it is right."

Yep - even though it contradicts the founding fathers, the bible and egotesticals all over the nation - secular-momentum forced government to give women the right to vote.

  • @TheHigherVoltage If you're not going to try to understand then I am wasting my time. People do those things and came up with the means to do them not the Government. The Government is just a firm of 500 people who enforce our law and are bound by a constitution. Societies makes advancements not Governments. Do you believe the mafia makes advancements? People need those aformentioned services. They would exist without the Government because there is money to be made.

  • @Luigi84289 "If you're not going to try to understand then I am wasting my time."

I'm listening and collecting your point of view. Are you doing the same for mine?

  • @TheHigherVoltage And killed untold millions of people after the war white and black who starved and were killed resisting the federal conquerors. The only way for slavery to end was to phase it out like the north or for black people to force it's end. (which apparently black people didn't want) Society is not locked in some sort of early 19th century limbo. We just a want a stable economy and peace. DC is our master now. We have to assert our freedom once more to be happy and content.

  • @Luigi84289 "We just a want a stable economy and peace." So does every nation. There's more than a passing correlation between the rise of religions and the falls of nations.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of governments - but they are a necessary evil we're stuck with in one form or another. Given the option between a secular corrupt gov'n, or a religiously corrupt gov'n - I'll pick the one that doesn't hide behind the name "God".

  • @TheHigherVoltage I've said nothing about not needing a Government. But our Government is a product of us and is bound by us through the Constitution. The only way to alter it is either a constitutional convention or Getting 3/4ths of the states to agree to add a new section. And that only works if the states are sovereign otherwise they will always side with DC. Read Thomas Jefferson. A bound Government where we weild the force is a good Government. Jefferson cut the army down to a minimum.

  • @Luigi84289 "But our Government is a product of us and is bound by us through the Constitution....Jefferson cut the army down to a minimum."

I agree with everything you said there. Unfortunately, Americans over the last 40 years have rarely been taught how to think for themselves. Any "revolution" (be it political or violent) at this point will only lead to a theocracy...and back to the Dark Ages of Christianity+Crown...which is what America rebelled against in the first place.

  • @TheHigherVoltage America was it's most prosperous from 1776 to the late 19th century. They only way for people to be truly happy is to be free. (not forced) I have just recently within the last few fyears felt this type of freedom by educating myself on what we used to have and what it means to be free. Why all animals strive for this and why you must sacrifice everything to protect it. Don't let other people force you do what is morally right to you. Don't be intimidated.

  • @Luigi84289 "America was it's most prosperous from 1776 to the late 19th century." I partially agree. SOME people were prosperous...MOST lived hand to mouth and in squaller.

"Don't be intimidated." That's why I speak my mind.

  • @Luigi84289 It wasn't until the industrial age, and specifically unionism, when the average Joe could finally earn a decent living....and be afforded the time to be "free".

  • @TheHigherVoltage That is a myth. If you own a company or just a piece of land in general that's where your time goes and you take time off as you need to to recuperate and rest. And during the industrial age it wasn't uncommon for the average joe to have to work 16 hours a day get up and work 16 more because he was working on someone else's time and not allowed to keep the full fruits of his labor. Unions keep companies from being able to function properly and lay off unproductive workers.

  • @Luigi84289 "Unions keep companies from being able to function properly and lay off unproductive workers."

Now wait a sec...if it wasn't for unions, we'd still be working 16 hours a day, 6 days a week. If you got hurt - too bad, starve.

Sure it's got a downside. So does everything. But the fact remains - if it wasn't for the unions, we'd all be working 16 hours a day, 6 days a week, no pension, no protection from unfair labor practices, and all for peanuts.

  • @TheHigherVoltage I would never run a company that way and I don't know anybody that would. I believe in owning private property and your own business if you wish to erect a system for supplying goods and or services to a specific area. Walmart I know for a fact is non Union and it pays around a dollar per hour more than the minimum wage for entry level positions. During that time my ancestors owned their own businesses and paid fair wages.

  • @TheHigherVoltage The wage would be set by whatever place would pay the most. And there would be competition over this as new businesses kept opening up and needing long term workers. There was already a good deal of regulation in place in the era in which you are referring. In a truly free market companies wouldn't have to spend more for goods because of subsidies and heavy taxes leaving more money available within the company.

  • @TheHigherVoltage Take the teachers unions. Even teachers that have sexually molested children cannot be fired. It can take years. If you are working for someone else it is up to you to endear yourself to that person and perform satisfactorily to keep your job. By working for someone else you agree that they can terminate you at their leisure if they feel it has to be done. It is their business. You want to minimize your turnover rate but you have to be able to fire unproductive workers.

  • @Luigi84289 "Take the teachers unions. Even teachers that have sexually molested children cannot be fired."

Ya, and that's fucked. But that's something that should be changed within that union. It doesn't mean scrap the union.

And let's be clear here : a $50,000/year unproductive employee is a drop in the bucket compared to a multi-million / year boardmember.

  • @TheHigherVoltage The only way to have a stable economy is to have a banking system that consists of hard precious scarce metals. (As those hold their high value) With paper notes supplied if needed representative of a fixed unchanging amount of gold. Inflation (which most all nations are experiencing right now) is the overprinting of notes which does nothing in and of itself but since the minimum wage is not raised in accordance we are only allowed a representation of a piece of what we had.

  • @Luigi84289 I completely agree with value-backed currency. Unfortunately at this point in time, changing this would cause a complete collapse of America.

America has to cover the bulk of it's debts if it's going to fix it's currency problem without turning 3rd world.

ie. stop waging wars on everyone, instill (actual) transparency and accountability in government spending, and eliminate pork barrel politics.

  • @TheHigherVoltage The Government slowly sucks up all of our wealth but what we must have to sustain ourselves. If you had 300 dollars and there were a total of 2000 in the economy then an extra 10,000 notes were printed and you were only alloted 20 new notes the amount of wealth you have has decreased but it has been increased for those who printed the notes as they keep what should have been the rest of your increase.

  • @Luigi84289 I'm not an expert in economics by any means, but I understand your point of view on this and agree with it.

Inflation and printing excess money is driving our spending power down...even though we're making more.

The Tea Party (in fact no party) can fix this. The world banking system has to change...and it won't without a global effort.

  • @TheHigherVoltage Exactly I don't identify with the tea party per say. I'm a freedom fighter. The Banking system is just a suction mechanism.

  • @Luigi84289 well, I've enjoyed this conversation, but I gotta hit the sack. my freedom requires me to show up for work tomorrow :)

    have a good night.

  • @TheHigherVoltage You too. It's nice finding someone who is open minded and well educated.

  • @TheHigherVoltage That is what the tea partiers are doing. Just like 1776. The founders hated slavery and Jefferson and all the rest looked forward to the day it ended. Your argument is very ignorant and naive. Look at your community. Do they want slavery? Do they want to regress to manual labor for one when machines are more efficient and humane? Nothing would change in your society except less Government interference. We are America not the Government.

  • perhaps it cant be proven athiest are more moral -but only that christians break the law more often - and of course law isnt equal to ethics - still i believe teaching and esposing beliefs in god/gods mysticysm an or supernatural cause people to think illogicaly and does determent to society and should be opposed at every turn - its is the reason for the dark ages where much natural understanding and reason was lost for many centuries

  • 1 well known statistic is that people in prison (ie people who have not followed the moral values of society) are about 1% athiest while the population as awhole are about 6-7%.

  • @MrIzzyDizzy

That fact tells you nothing about the impact of religiosity on moral behaviour really. Of course, people who are college educated and exposed to all kind of fancy theories are more likely to be atheists than the general population. And of course people who have an affluent background and a higher education tend to be less violent / criminal. But if you controll for these factors, at least in Germany (where I come from) it could be demonstrated that a strong Christian faith (tbc..)

  • @Tareki1000 leads to less violent behaviour. The study was conducted by the leading German criminologist Christian Pfeiffer. Youtube doesn't let me post the link but if you speak German and Google for KFN + Pfeiffer you will find it.

  • @Tareki1000 thank you for replying - unfortunately i cant speak german - it may be that christian beliefs enforce moral standards - and i realise too that there are many reasons a criminal in prison would claim belief in god even perhaps if he didnt -but it is true a higer percentage of criminals are christian in the usa than the percentage of christians in the population here - further there is nothing in athiesm that denys ethics it just denys mysticsm/supernatural - as man created god/gods

  • you should remain silent - because you have no evidence of the supernatural and you continue the fear and irationality of some sort of a clapse of a consensus that a belief in god is a good thing- there is no rational reason to believ this is true, i know as a former declarer of belief that many simply believe in a belief of god, and fear that a consenus in anon belief in god would be apotenicialy huge loss in the moral values that make up society. this is a false assumption

  • american is for all americans not just your teapotty vision of it. you want a country founded by religion go to iran

  • This gentleman doesn't even believe this country is secular. But he talks about respecting others. If believers don't bother non believers there will be no problem between their god and non believers.

  • I hate it when the Statists Like Lenin, try to rationalize the seizure of peoples Rights Like Freedom of Speech or Right to bear arms as well as our Religious Rights, like that punk Jim Clyburn Liberal Communist who wants to take away our first and second amendment rights right after the Tuscon Shooting. Well I got news for you Clyburn the highest crime and murder rates happen in areas with the most constricting gun laws. Besides God Game me my Rights NOT GOVERNMENT!
