  • Thank God one member of the counsel believes in the rights of the constitution. she needs to recongnized and commended for her CORRECT response. I feel it is a shame that nobody in the audiance said a damn thing to stand up to the totalitarian jerks remaining in the counsel. The cops should be charged with violation of the constitution...too many damn sheeple!!!!!

  • City councils are worthless across America. Strip them of power and replace them with community-driven approaches to manage city affairs. The concentration of political power in few hands always lead to abuses locally, regionally, and nationally.

  • write in Dr. Paul for President in 2012

  • Now there is a Christ follower!

This is the main reason that Jesus was crucified!

    Father if you need any help overturning the tables of the money lenders, let me know and I'll join you.(;

  • These actions will only help fuel the fires of change, before people rise up and take back there countries they must first be abused and pushed down. This revolution is growing fast and only ignorant or stupid leaders do not see this. Peace !!!, it's what we all deserve :)

  • had they tried this in the 30s, everyone in the audience would have had those fucking pigs and that corrupt asshole at gun point, and they would have been well within their rights to do so

  • i love this guy for doing this. good job man. stand up and say something

  • Wow way to take a huge dump all over our constitutional rights city council.

  • There ya go. Corrupt city council with cops following their orders regardless of if they breach the constitution.

  • Furthermore, the American people in majority are against the destructive foreign policies that are being carried out by the false propagation of fear. Our government no longer cares for our voices because they are being steered by the interests of the new world order. eugenicist scumbags. It's not their country and soon.. gunpowder will remind them of this if a vote wont.

  • Just disgusting. How dare that man call himself a ''government official''... This priest is a hero for refusing to stand down and exercising his CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. Wake up people...They've gotten way too much power and its really time to remind them who really runs america. Stop these wars. Stop the foreign traitors seeking to dismantle our way of life from the inside for their own selfish means. Ron Paul is the answer to this. Live free or die.

  • Fuck that city council!!!!!

  • while clanki and bullxetmw3 take over the comments section, i'm gonna take the time and insert a break in there and say thank you for posting this video. very interesting watch

  • @Clanki Haha crimes against himanity lol. Dude are you American? Maybe you need to relax a little. Hug a pupppy or frow a garden, do something because your going to give yourself a heart attach. Most importantly, do not forget to smile!!!

  • @bullxetmw3 How do you frow a garden? Do you need the blood of the Iraqi people? Or something more dear, like the blood of an American who stands up for his rights against an abusive and brainwashed government and population?

  • @Clanki Countless wars? are u kiddiyng me? Look what the romin empire did and what england did. All for one man and they said it was for got. The Roman empire and the reniassance killed millions of people. who are u to judge how awful the counrty is. wow i cud agrue with u all day abt this shit but you some fasist idiot. so get alife.

  • @bullxetmw3

Yes countless wars. vietnam was illegal, afghanistan was illegal, iraq was illegal.

And I come neither from Italy nor England.

I come from a country which has no army so believe me we got a right to judge you.

Your country has around 90% of ground water contaminated due to greed.

your kids are murdering other kids.

the soldiers have murdered over half a million INNOCENT people in the last 10 years.

The USA is the facist you must be an utter idiot not to see that.

  • @bullxetmw3 And I do have a life. And I do not intend to let IDIOT Americans try to tell me what is right and wrong when they scream at the sight of a nipple but celebrate someone being executed.

the renassance was NOT a country. it was a time period so please get that straight.

Also who started mass murdering native americans again?

Who has invaded 2 country's that had nothing to do with 9/11?

Who's former president is wanted for crimes against humanity?

    YOURS!

  • mossad not muslims did 9/11/01

  • Good for you father. And good for you councilwoman. Seems that other cocksucker can't stand to hear anyone speak their mind. Ridiculous.

  • thats all kind of fucked up he just called they ass out and they got mad smh makes me ashamed of America

  • God Bless You Father Nathan Monk. America, please wake up!! Ron Paul is our last chance for freedom!

  • the government is turning into the british government from v for vendetta thumbs up?

  • I'm glad he had the balls to do it!

  • PLEASE EVERYONE LIKE AND FAVORITE THIS VIDEO! His voice should be heard...

  • RON PAUL 2012

  • America needs a revolution... Seriously, just have people march down into Capitol Hill and State Government houses, and simply remove everyone that is currently taking office in the US government. There are too many senile, ignorant nutjobs and too many corporate puppets. GET THEM OUT OF THERE and replace them with some actual rational people!

  • @Marksman230591 unfortunately, we voted for them. We need to educate ourselves and do our own research outside the political ads before we vote.

  • Its amazing the city council can get away this. Props to the council woman who gets up and leaves. Shame on the rest.

  • They limited his time based solely on the content of his message. Notwithstanding the need to regulate and conduct orderly meetings, this deplorable episode is simply government censorship and suppression based solely on the content and message, well within the rules and alloted time of this body. If he was a chamber of commerce cheerleader with the usual BS, he would be just fine.

  • Apparently, it is illegal to say that you are not happy with your government.

I just want to throw up.

  • @123gwf I did and im not even in that country.

  • @123gwf You're quite right. It has become almost illegal to have complaints against corruption. 3 officers were about to ram this guy's American head through the back door had he shook his finger the wrong way or gotten any louder. We will take this country back, yet. It starts with people like Nathan and it ends with We The People, starting Right Now.

  • Hey people the right to free speech is not absolute, at a meeting public or not there are rules of order, he had other recoarse than to make a grandstand play like that he was platying for the cameras. The public meeting needs to be orderly. The preacher had made his point, and so was ruled out of order. If the preacher wants to be heard he needs to get himself put on the agenda. Like all Constitutional rights there are limits. They didn't limit his content just his time, as is thier right.

  • @mt3311 While you may be right the deeper problem is, how was the man out of order? Was he using offensive language? Was he raising his voice? Was he being physically violent? Or was it that he was being offensive to the Chairman's pride? Was he intelligently and effectively airing his grievances in a way everyone could understand? He questioned his government which is the DUTY of every American we are in this debacle now because Americans keep passing the responsibility to someone else.

  • @mt3311 no, Sam Hall's limits are not "Constitutional", they are arbitrary.

  • @mt3311 You are wrong. The head councilman wanted to shut him up, to censor him, which goes against the whole purpose of the meetings. Abuse of power. People have a right to get loud so everybody in the room can hear them well. People have a right to offend others by telling truth that might hurt. Even saying the word Hitler is illegal, I guess.

  • By the way, who's the leader of this city council? I'd say it's about high time to have his powers revoked and his position impeached. The way he reacted in this situation is probably the saddest, most embarrassing thing that I've seen a public official do. This is absolutely pathetic. He's clinging to his power like he's afraid he's going to lose it... and he's willing to abuse it to keep it.... doesn't that mean that he's too incompetent to wield it?

  • Wow, what country are we living in.

  • @anneharpen oh say, can we see? :(

  • The only reason he wasn't forcefully removed was because he's a preacher. If this had been a regular American citizen, they wouldn't have cared... but because he is a preacher, I'm sure they wanted to avoid even more bad PR... such as this youtube video

  • Better yet, perhaps this guy should just be held at Guantanamo indefinelty and waterboarded, eh ? I hope you Floridans send folks packing at the next election. I suppose there is a reason Chuck Baldwin left Flordia and moved up here.

  • Utterly disgusting behavior by a governmental offical in a free society, or what used to be a free society. If that keeps up, it will spill out in the hallway and into the streets. And it should: this nation was born out of revolutionary struggle and violence and no major social change since then has taken place without it. Once government becomes a tool to repress it's citizens rights, it is clearly time to vote em out or tear it down - -by whatever means, as our forefathers did.

  • kudos to the cops for not removing him

  • This vid is in response to Pensacola homeless ordinances discussion

  • Is that Man Bear Pig in the back?

  • Florence Carlton School District in Florence Montana is a joke, run by morally corrupt people. Many people hide there head in the sand for fear of reprisal of there children, not playing sports or there businesses being targeted. Until the moral stand up for themselves, then the unmoral will continue to destroy for they own greed. One day they will be judged by GOD and then will get an elevator straight to hell!

  • God bless him, and may we obtain our republic again some day.

  • @smash240 you are absolutely correct sir. people dont do their research but they should. this country was founded on paganism not christianity. the biggest unconstitutional act in american history has recently happened people, the NDAA bill has been passed. in a few months pres obama will declare marshall law. i'll be damned if i follow that order. its getting to be that time to overthrow our corrupt government. its our constitutional right to do so

  • Who was the IDIOT that ruled Fr. Monk out of order? What's his name?

  • i got mad respect for that guy!

  • this government is run by satan what do people expect? you think God supports this country? you think God will bless this country?

  • Send this to the news...go public. We need to get rid of these senile old bastards in government. I could tell that old bitch was having trouble getting the words out of her mouth. Put her on a respirator

  • E-mail the city council president here . shall@ci.pensacola.fl.us

  • Comment removed

  • they can do what ever they want if most of the people voted for them then they are representing them so its a problem of your voting system. in your country people don't know how to vote

  • I completely agree with Nathan Monk.

That idiot who told him to sit down basically spelled it out to all of us (That Mr. Monk had touched something important*) when he told Mr. Monk to sit down!

That idiot just didn't want Mr. Monk to tell the truth in a public place.

The woman who left the meeting, because of that idiot man, is cool too.

-Things are really messed up if people are allowed to advertizes drugs in front of Walmart but are not allowed to tell the truth in a City Council meeting!

  • Councilman P.C. Wu also left to speak with Father Monk outside City Hall.

  • 3 cops one preist

  • It's all about money all evil is

  • Clearly absent from these city council meetings are the current homeless citizens themselves, sadly many of them do not have the wherewithal and feel too disenfranchised to attend. The citizens supporting the homeless are their only voice, what would the homeless do without these eloquent citizens like Fr. Nathan and the others? The homeless are already invisible to society, at least they have a voice through these caring people.

  • He was to trying to get arrested. He thought it would happen a lot sooner, and that is why he is repeating himself.

  • @Utuber420able Free speech includes the right to repeat yourself. The Florida constitution places no limits upon speech

    .

  • oooh look at those big powerful police officers ready to exercise their 'power' at the behest of their master - like fucking dogs. pathetic.

  • Thank you Hutch, for giving this man more attention!

  • I've been a fan of Father Nathan for the past few months, I will support him all the way through this.

  • Elected Officials take an Oath to "Support and Defend" OUR Constitution...

... NOT violate them at their will. That is called a form of Tyranny.

America is fast becoming a Nation of Tyrants.

  • @maxx1000 The United States has been a tiranny for 50 years.

I think it is about time people wake up to that.

  • @Clanki America isnt a fuckn "Tiranny" so dont ever think that it is. Its poor leaders. Dont ever down grade this country.

  • @bullxetmw3 THE USA is a tirrany when you got only two political party's who control things and they do what companies tell them not the people.

That is one way of tirrany.

And as a country that has started countless wars, Got they´re former president on a list of war criminals & have murdered millions of innocent people....

The USA is not just a tirrany, It is a terrorist country. In fact worlds biggest terrorist country.

No knowledge about the world nor critical thinking.

  • @Clanki you no the same peopl that high jacked those 4 planes on 9 11 thought the same thing about our country. They killed over 4000 civilians. Its people like you that make this world suck and ugly world to live. You think you are so smart and "your" way will fix everything. If it werent for former president Regan we probably would have gone no nucular war with Russia. But he bankrupted them instead and saved the world from that. Its people that makes the mistakes. Not the country.

  • @bullxetmw3 If anyone is to blame is the voters for voting those people into office. Look at Obama. Im Convinced hes the antichrist. Hes going to take all you freedoms away and well let him do it. Y? bcuz he can speak good infront of people. Hitler did that well as well.

  • @bullxetmw3 You sent this message to yourself which proves your lack of intelligence, you believe Obama is the antichrist, your a religious nut, you compare Obama to Hitler while Europe compares the USA to nazi germany.

And george bush was more of a hitler as he started this war.

  • @Clanki You are crazy..... This has probably pissed you off more then it has anyone here.

  • @bullxetmw3 Yes because I am against the crimes against humanity the USA has committed, half a million innocent people killed, many country's bankrupt by the US.

Yes we who support peace & not wars for control over oil, gold & mass murder must all be crazy.

  • @bullxetmw3 You must be a complete idiot. the people in afghanistan had nothing to do with this nor iraq.

You say its okay to murder half a million innocent people because 4000 were killed?

Hell's angels the motorcycle group is in almost every country so why not just attack the entire world?

It seems all the USA does.

    I don't think I am smart. I AM SMART!

I knew as did the WHOLE of Europe know that Iraq was NOT involved nor Afghanistan.

  • 28 people are cops.

  • This guy has the strength to stand by what he know is right. Thank you Father Monk.

  • We need more people like Father Monk! ---Pensacola resident

  • I admire people like Father Nathan Monk

  • That stupid fat pig leaning against the barrier rolled his eyes at the pissed off City Counsel-Woman. If those cops had ANY brains at all, they would have stepped back when she spoke up as they were clearly breaking the law by trying to remove and American Citizen for redressing his "government" his grievances. It's the state our country is in now. Many cops don't give a flying fuck about our Constitution. Those cops who follow their oath, are classified as (Cont.)

  • (Cont.) Those officers that swear to keep the oath they took, are now number one on the "Department Of Homeland Security's" list of greatest dangers to"National Security" along with all retired or active military personnel who do the same. What kind of country do we live in when the DoHLS lists veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan as bigger "threats" than Al-Qaeda? Law enforcement and active/retired military who will keep their oaths are dangerous to their police state. RISE UP AS ONE!!

  • Is that obi wan kenobi?

  • Right there - that is exactly why everyone hates the government. They say they gave us our rights, but we end up fighting for those "rights" all the time. Whoo hooo stick it to em !!!

  • change . org / petitions / tell-pensacola-city-council-president-sam-hall-that-his-disregard-for-the-first-amendment-will-not-be-tolerated

  • I made a similar speech last week, outside Winston-Salem City Hall. I have tried to post it here as a video response, but it has not been approved. If you are interested, please view it from the link to my profile here, and let me know what you think. Thanks for your time.

  • I may disagree with Father Nathan Monk on the plight of the homeless, but the Pensacola Council acted horribly.

The Father was absolutely right in his statement about the Constitution and the right to petition the Government to redress grievances. Shame on the Council, I think it is time for a change of government there. This was not a bunch of rowdy goons acting in an illegal way like the Occupy Wall Street goons, but Citizenship at it's finest. For him to be treated that way is a crime.

  • @mahbriggs "tea partiers" two years ago were a bunch of rowdy goons. Why were they not arrested for free speech?

  • @Yankhadenough They're for the rich so they can do what they like. Ever hear of a book called "The Iron Heel?" Welcome to the Oligarchy predicted by Jack London over 100 years ago!

  • @badnewswade I am embarrassed that I did not know Jack London wrote on this topic, i am familiar with his "Call of the Wild". I know Charles Dickens and Upton Sinclair were well-known for this genre, I am sure I would be interested in reading "The Iron Heel" , I just got a Nook for Christmas, thanks for the heads-up! ;)

  • My God is that a christian minister standing up and speaking out against the corrupt system?Take that mans photo..it's a rareity.

  • You can tell it because he ran out of stuff to say after like 45 seconds. He expected it to happen a lot sooner and when he didn't get removed from the podium all he could say is "I'm embarrassedover and over" Decent speech up until he ran out of stuff to say : )

  • @Utuber420able Fr. Monk did not run out of stuff to say, clearly he was cut off suddenly and censored by the Council President, Sam Hall, before Monk's time was up. After Fr. Monk was abruptly sidetracked from his speech by Sam Hall, he was standing his ground for his First Amendment right!

  • @Yankhadenough actually I know him. . Do you? He was trying to get arrested

  • @Utuber420able so what, you "claim" to know him.

Noone would've expected Fr. Monk to be arrested for this!

  • shame on the council , trick , give them a cup of tea then they would of calmed down, the whole of the audience are just as brain washed, stand by the right one, nathan monk,

  • YOU GO FATHER NATHAN! ha ha! I love it!!

  • I'm against the homeless and think they can work the fields; but I sure wish there were more people like Fr. Nathan. I think he's great!

  • Fr. Nathan is so cute!

  • @WinterHaven some can't find jobs, some are unable to work, others have drug and alcohol addictions which are very hard to overcome, especially in the state of affairs that most homeless people are in.

    okay

  • Sam hall can burn in hell

  • LEGALIZE IT THE MARIJUANA!!!!

  • RIP land of freedom say hello to the new Nazi order.

  • they should have guards that stand there to serve the people, not for the politicians.

  • I don't think he was aiming to get arrested. he was waiting to finish up what he was saying, and he still had time left. he was not out of order like that bastard said.

  • why did that lady say "I am leaving this chamber?" she said you are in violation,, was she talking about the speaker (mr monk) ? I don't get it.

  • @creativeprojects720 She is Councilwoman Sherri Myers and she was admonishing Sam Hall, Council President, for violating Fr. Monk's First Amendment rights

  • @Yankhadenough I see. well she also could have said "get those cops away from him and let him speak." I would have been afraid of those cops, had I been in that position.

  • @creativeprojects720 i think she was talking to the guy talking to nathan

  • @AsianHoPz ok, I see.

  • I want to hear the next speaker also. (I liked that guy by the way, he is a true american! we need to start standing up to our government)

  • what does "redress" mean?

  • @creativeprojects720 "redress" is in First Amendment.

    Definition: re·dress/riˈdres/

Verb:Remedy or set right (an undesirable or unfair situation): "the power to redress the grievances of our citizens".

Noun:Remedy or compensation for a wrong or grievance.

    Synonyms:

verb. repair - rectify - retrieve - remedy - compensate

noun. reparation - compensation - indemnity - amends

  • @Yankhadenough yes,. thank you.

  • he reminds me of obi wan kenobi...

  • Thanks :)

    abeldanger(dot)net

  • You can see it in courtrooms across the land.

Those in power have no idea of the Constitutional limits of that power, or the Constitutional rights of their citizens.

    Very disturbing.

  • @lesdabassman yep, all you got to do is search google "city council free speech violation", over 5million results :(

  • What frightened me was the people sitting and clapping while Real Americans left! God save us from the coward citizens who have flouride brains. I hope I misunderstood their appalause.

  • @JillyBeanNxD keep in mind, they are Terrified of us. they are acting out of desperation, like little kids! FUCK'em!

  • Welcome to Israeli occupied America.

  • Has there been any further news about Father Monk? was Father Monk arrested (it looked as though he walked out of court in handcuffs (....

  • @shotsy5 No, he was not arrested. A local TV station helped Fr Monk and Sam Hall to arrange a private meeting afterwards. I am trying to find that article now!

  • @shotsy5 Here it is:

    w w w . weartv . com/newsroom/top_stories/videos/wear_vid_19536 . shtml

  • @Yankhadenough Thanks for the info. It is being swept under the rug, it seems, so I hope the Pensacola citizens remember the silence of this City Council when election time comes around. :(

  • @shotsy5 YW! You may be interested in watching this entire forum, pls watch video posted below in this comment. Fr. Monk was allowed to return & have his full time to speak freely w/o interruption. Imho, Monk's 2nd speech was even more eloquent than the 1st, especially given the circumstances that happened during his 1st speech! Pls watch this in its entirety (& note what Councilwoman Myers said on her return to the chamber, a true stateswoman) w w w . youtube . com/watch?v=fx3PnNXVZ6E

  • I don't like Father Monk, but to stop his speech is un-American.

  • Many of our elected officials are exhibiting, and the term here is not meant to sensationalize, despotic behavior, conduct uncoupled from the rule of law for the common good. They have so much fear, fear of a man's calm words of critique. They are so ungrounded and vulnerable that even quiet, measured opinions of this man cause them to kill the conversation. We're seeing in Pensacola, we're seeing it in the White House. We must stand for what's right and refuse to yield that ground.

  • We are going to need alot of rope and alot of lamp posts.

  • It always amazes me when Americans get indigent about being compared to Nazis. Nazis are for Free Speech except for criticizing the Nazis. Communist are for Free Speech except for criticizing Communists. Zionist are for Free Speech except for criticizing Zionists. Americans are for Free Speech except for criticizing Americans. If Americans where really for Free Speech the Council President Sam Hall, would be in Jail for the High Crime of breaking the 1st Amendment.

  • @HansBarenjager word

  • well done father monk sure could have a few more like youself standing up for whats right

    god bless you all

  • That is an appalling display of facism in america and even worse is that the cops betrayed their oath to the constitution and were going to be good little thugs to the elite criminal councilpeople who remained.

  • LOL. Did anyone else notice the people doing 'spirit fingers' instead of clapping? hahaha.

  • Charges and hangings....

  • To those interested in watching this entire forum, please watch video posted below in this comment. Fr. Monk was allowed to return and have his full time to speak freely without interruption. • THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE USA CONSTITUTION!

    SUE THE GOVERNMENTS ORGANIZATIONS$

$ IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY “$your money$”$

WE THE PEOPLE 99% can do it!

If you like JUST THE TRUTH. Then please vote this video up!!!

  • It makes me laugh how Americans are so brainwashed into thinking they live in the #1 country in the world. Well, they don't. U.S.A. is NOT #1 for highest standard of living/Best quality of Life. Western Europeans & Canadians live better than Americans. Also, it makes me laugh when you hear all the brainwashed Americans always saying that their "beloved" U.S. troops are overseas in Iraq/Afghanistan fighting to protect their so called "freedoms". Most Americans are brainwashed and ignorant.

  • @SubSlaveCD Which IMF, UCC, ADMIRALTY LAW, animal farm do you live in?

Does it have a "2nd amendment"? LMFAO

  • @IronRangeSurvival Hahahaha...I live in the USA...born and raised. However, I am not the typical brainwashed American. Obviously, you are.

  • @SubSlaveCD Then why so much NLP out of your account? Looks like someone is mad..you mad bro?

  • @SubSlaveCD

Excuse me sir. I would prefer to live here and be raised here than ANY European country, What? You like living in a cramped and crappy apartment like most Europeans live in? You love socialism? Daddy government love you long time hehe X0

Europeans dont have ANY notion of liberty or freedom, just decadence and rationalism.

    U dont like guns either.

And no, most americans dont support the war in Iraq or Afghanistan, stop watching TV or Russia Today pal. Get real.

  • @lucianarg30 Actually, Most Western European countries have higher standards of living than that U.S.A.. Also, western Europeans have more vacations each year and they work less hours per week than Americans. It's also visibly obvious that Europeans dress much better than Americans too...Americans are fat and tacky. European nations are also democracies...they all have elections and vote in their leaders, but you're just a typical brainwashed American, thinking otherwise.

  • @SubSlaveCD

Higher living standards....u think Im stupid like you, dont you? I LIVED IN MADRID FOR 4 YEARS. I traveled quite a lot whilst there, through all of Europe. Bureaucracy is rampant and the norm. Getting a drivers license is over 500 euros in most countries. what? Just because you can go to the doctor for free, is that higher living?? Your university students are a joke and you are ALL pinko commies. Dress better? Haha!! Does that matter? This is a REPUBLIC, not a circus.

  • @lucianarg30 just check the stats bro, dont judge europe from your experience

  • @xxalestarxx

My experience, by living more than 4 years there, surpasses any stat.

I respect your comments. Kisses :)

  • @lucianarg30 in europe we are free to do whatever we want, just like you

  • @xxalestarxx

You cant even go camping in the wild!! How is that freedom? You need to do to a camping site and hire a little house stuff. The US has far more freedom in MANY senses, thats why the US overcame Europe a looooong time ago. Peace.

  • @lucianarg30 its hypocritical that you criticize the high cost of a drivers licence in europe, here in finland it is around 1500 euros, and yet at the same time mock free healthcare. the education in my country is great. however its fabulous that you shit on every european countrys educational system without never experiencing them. you really shouldnt be so narrow minded and think that the 1st spot can always be found from your home country. sometimes yes, sometimes no

  • @Ozznize

Ok.....geeeze! Let me narrow it down. Nordic countries are generally better than southern europe or eastern european countries. I dont consider nordic countries within the eurozone as shitty countries, but hey, 1500 euros for a drivers licence is a disgrace. What can I say? The US has the ability to go forward in ALL directions thanks to our stance on liberty and freedom. THIS IS A CHRISTIAN NATION, FOUNDED BY CHRISTIAN. Like it or not. Peace and kisses :)

  • @lucianarg30 This is a secular nation, that has Bill of Rights. First Amendment makes it clear there is NO state religion, and all citizens may exercise their religious beliefs within the American society:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

  • @Yankhadenough

Um, did I say "Sharia Christian Law" or something? This nation was founded by Christians, and because of that, the Bill of Rights and the rest of the Amendments are so respectful and giving to peoples liberty! Had this nation been founded by seculars, as you say, we would have had a Federal Reserve decades ago and a fascist government (like now). BTW, all Amendments are based on the Bible and all Presidents swear by it when taking their oath.

  • @lucianarg30 Did I say "atheists" or something? Our nation was founded by secularists (people who believe in seperation of church and state, it is does not mean they were not religious personally.) Secularism is why we have Bill of Rights that states clearly that our country does NOT have a state religion. Bible is optional at oath! Puritans left England because of religious persecution by dominant Anglican church, remember history? Western law is historically based on Mosaic law

  • @Yankhadenough

I get what you mean. But it is of no use denying the Truth only because in this day and age its cool to be anti religious and all for being secular. Back in the day people were mostly Christian or just plain uninterested in religion. That still doesn't take away the fact that this country was founded by and colonized by Christians. Peace!

  • @lucianarg30 not cool to be anti-religious, just Constitutional to point out the difference between secularism and state-run religions
