Thanks! I ended up going with this speech all the way to the region, and there I was convinced that the order in which a person speaks has a trremendous effect on their placement. I spoke first and lost. In my final assessment, the speech has to be Entertaining and Funny. If you got those two things, the rest is frosting on the cake. Good luck!

I enjoyed it. Checked out a handful of tall tales videos on YouTube and this is my favourite so far.
I'd have thought that the main tale should be a much larger part of the speech, though, if this were being judged?

Excellent presentation and story.
The ending could be stronger. Maybe lead up to (or away) from it in some fashion so it fits in with the other things in the speech.
Very nice. I enjoyed it. :)
