Can anyone who knows about drumming tell me what Gene is doing at the chorus when it goes "swim on" and it's like (according to timing) on 1 the drum goes kush 2 3-kush 4, 1-kush 2 3-kush-kush 4.

So there is a drum sound on 1 and 3 and the second time there is two on 3. It's sounds like the hit of a bass pedal but with a different sound, I don't know so if anyone does pleas let me know.
