  • @LocalJuice It's called amalgam. The gold dust is mixed with mercury to separate it easier from the heavy sands.

    The amalgam balls then go into a retort which separates the gold from the mercury.

    The mercury is recycled .

  • all those painted rocks haha i have a freind who paints wee pebbels and scatters them around the arrow river and sits back and has a larf at all the excited tourists!!!....so ther not painted pebbels then?
