Cleveland Indians, what can i say....we have the potential to be a great team. With the dissapointments of our history, it has kept us from reaching are true abilities. No one can forget that error in '97, but we have to get over it. Eric Wedge never has his team ready to start. Shapiro needs to get some brains. We need to rebuild totally. A lot of people might argue that this team does not have the talent to win a championchip. I'll agree that our rotation still has a good number of holes and our bullpen has always been shaky, but you cannot argue that the talent is not there. The past two years, after the all star break, this team has played much better baseball than it ever had in the first 4 months of the season. In contention or not, this team always plays consistently better baseball after July. How frustrating can that be?

I love the Indians, problem we have is we get a lot of REALLY good minor league young guys. We have a great minor league system, and once we bring the guys up and they get full of themselves they want to jump to a bigger club or ask for to much money. I'm not saying all the guys are like that but it has happened a lot in the 90's to them. They are a smart club for not spending money on free agents every year, they want to MAKE a team and a championship.
