The prophesied Antichrist will be a man who will, initially at least, appear to have everyone's best interests at heart. He will creep into power as a peacemaker through which he will, ultimately, destroy many as recorded in Daniel 8:25.
Hey thanks for this post. I live on Capitol Hill,a 10 mn walk from this intersection, volunteered for Obama, and was downtown going crazy. I haven't seen this much excitement in the streets since the WTO Riots. Fortunately this time there were no arrests. YES WE DID!!!
I used to live in Capitol Hill for 13 years up until a month ago when I moved to Colorado. Sad I couldn't be a part of this celebration, but at least I brought the blue to a swing state! :)
This is truly touching. I go to a majority black school (Howard University) and the students flooded the streets in celebration. But to see that not only blacks rejoiced...not only Americans rejoiced, but the world rejoiced at the election of Obama brings tears to my eyes. It seems these celebrations took place just about everywhere.
Yay War! Yay Patriotic Act! Yay Corporate Government Takeover! Yay Bush and Obama, you two are hand in hand!

YES. Thank you. That is me on the pole in the red jacket and I am overjoyed to have some proof of this night.
PS Still searching for a photographer who stood at the top of QFC till the end, around 2 AM. If anyone knows the mystery man, do tell.
