I put my own mp3s in the game. Copy n paste your music files into EA Games > Sims 2 > Music and choose the folders that you want the songs to go into.

There's also a way to take away the headlines, you know the things that pop up apon the sims head when two sims are talking to eatch other, to show what they are talking about. Heres the code "show headlines off", type that in the code bar, oce again to get the code bar hold "ctrl+shift+C", and there you have it.

The dances are just regular in-game sim dances.  I get them to "face and freeze" by selecting the "Pose" option from the object's pie menu.

Go to your music folder copy and paste your music files into the following folder: EA GAMES/The Sims 2/Music/(category of your choosing here). I usually put all of my custom music in the build, buy, cas, and nhood folders and then put the others into their proper genres.
