Haha, when I saw this and looked at all the people crying, I thought "Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel sometimes." :P He is my all time favorite artist ever, and country music would not and will not be the same without him. :) Love you Garth!

What Garth does in his personal life is his business. He is human and will make mistakes in life as anyone. He is a great artist, who by the way truely sanged at concerts; and way better than so many of these contempary pretty faces who can't sing, just looking pretty on stage while lipsyncing a stupid song.

It doesn't really matter that much who's THE best. People's taste in popular culture including music is highly subjective. All that really matters is if you like it, support it and respect others preference.

Garth was a great commerical success in the 90's and that's a testament that he won favor with a great many listeners and paying customers and that is something.

Garth lost fans and alot of respect when it came out he is a serial cheater and messed around on poor poor Sandy Brooks. Like a strong woman she left him and Garth had to beg her to leave.
