It's because they turned Goku back into a little kid which was just retarded. Also it wasn't made by the original creator and Akira(creator of dbz) doesn't acknowledge Gt. Oh yeah and how they made Goku Jr. and Vegeta jr. be able to turn super sayain when the creator said that you needed to at least be a quarter saiyan to be come a super saiyan.

The only destination in DBZ is to get stronger. To search the dragonballs isn't relevant anymore. In DB son goku searched the dragonballs and helps diferent people with diferent problems. In DBGT the mainquest is to search the dragonballs again.

SS4 was just japan's way of coming up with something new to keep the kids coming back and it was so disappointing. You also have to remember that GT doesn't have that DB/DBZ feel because it wasn't written by Akira Toriyama. That's why alot of us hate it. And we know that it never happened.

BTW: Originally when Toriyama made SS3, their tail was supposed to grow back and the hair was much shorter and resembled a blown-backed version of SS2 hair. SS3 ws possibly a precursor for the Golden Great Ape form (which was hinted in a scene from DBZ) and SS4, which were Toriyama's ideas.
