In short, its about that blue haired guy "Tomoya" and he how every thing good that he has gets taken away from him. "he blames the City for it". then there a these little light things that only a few ppl can see "Tomoya can" and when u geht tuched by one it Grantz u a wish, so in when every one dies "Wife//Doughter" he wished for it that all of it never habend....."The Anime is not as Crapy as i my sound from what i have writen"

this anime made me cry alot. Espically when Fuko left, Nagisa's death, Tomoya and Usio connection, and finally Usio's death. All these scenes made me cry alot, but still it really is a good anime, And i love it :)

Clannad is the BEST anime i ever watched ;D and seariously my list has more than 100 animes but this one its my favorite number one n.n

Oh no you should watch it.Despite the EXTREME sadness(i mean,this is the saddest thing i've ever watched) there's also a lot of happy moments that really really make u cry of happiness too ^_^

I agree with you. I collect them, and now I have about 40-45 complete series, but maybe it was the only anime that I could watch again and again. It has very humorous parts, and sad as well. There is a wide variety of emotions. And actually i cannot compare its graphic to any other animes.

It reminded me to the Kanon a little, but it was far better than that.
