Last Exile is a little odd in that it was never based off a manga. It was always just intended to be it's own little 26 episode long anime. I'm sure if it had been more popular it would probably have spawned a spin-off manga, whatever they're called, but yeah, there is no manga to last exile.

Thanks for doing this whole abridged series, it was hilarious from start to finish. I have seen the original series 4 times and the abridged twice. I would have to say that #5 and #6 abridged are my favorites. When I first saw the abridged series I thought that I wouldn't be able to watch Last Exile again, but I think the abridged series will make me appreciate the series even more when I see it a 5th, 6th 7th time etc.

now for some constructive critcism - you prolly already noticed this but the top and bottom of the video seam to be extreamly pixelated, nothing major just point of note - also for text at the bottom of the screen, choose a different color other than white if you can or put a outline around the text because its really hard to see

Well, like all the songs featured in the series that are in pure string and drum versions... I supply my own arrangements by playing them and mixing them personally.

Very good point on the text. It started as my own incompotence not knowing how to change the text colour, then I just kept it to remain consistent though added the shadow when I could.

The pixelation is just nessecity. My video converter (Turning the episode from avi to divx) cant change the aspect ration. It blends those lines

Fantastic way to end this series. I have to ask...what program do you use for making your instrumental versions of songs? Or is that just you being incredibly badass on whatever stringed instrument that is?

Well, I record each track individually in Audacity while listening to the prvious one on a regular old head set, then I mix them together in Vegas.

I usually try to play each section as one continuous thing, though I'll admit, I sometimes relax that and do multiple takes if there are clean breaks in the part. (Like, TTFAF)

I may do an Ask Unwardil Video on the process I go through to make the songs because I get that question a lot.

You know, I have to say that while the Geneon dub is pretty good, it's the Visuals and Sound track that really sells the show.
