Sorry, Gazza, this doesn' t float my boat. I miss the good old days: "Cars", "Are Friends Electric?", etc. I' m aware of the fact that things change, but in this case, unfortunately not for the better. It's downwards from here, I' m afraid. Sorry.
@ZLUGGO Such change for Gary Numan in a way I believe was inevitable.Aspergerians such as Numan and myself as well as several others I know, seem to be naturally drawn to the goth subculture and its associated subcultures. Not sure why though, perhaps its the nature of our dreams, most accounts of Aspergerian dreams I've heard concur with my own,my own being quite vivid, dark and unfortunately disturbing.our dreams dont give us rest they steal life from us they dont make us scream just leave us empty
@ZLUGGO Honestly I wouldnt call it problem really, infact there are many of us who consider ourselves superior to neurotypicals(how we describe those of you who have "normal" minds). As tempting as considering myself superior is, I personally dismiss such notions. The whole idea of our superiority stems from the fact that some of the greatest minds in history are also suspected of being of our kind. It would be interesting to see just how much we have changed history, for the better or worse.
@ZLUGGO Thats the interesting thing really, we have just as much capaity for evil as we do for good, I find myself manytimes becomming disillusioned with humanity, and I wonder just how much harm we could do if we really tried. Not too long ago an Aspergerian single handedly hacked into the Pentagon computers for example, and that was with no ill intent. What could he have done if he wanted to mess things up? We even have nobel prize winners in our ranks.
@ZLUGGO I once met a corrupted aspergerian, horrible kid he was, raised improperly, headed down a horrible path, I fear what might become of him. But in general its my experience that most of us possess a good heart, and tend to rub off on anyone we meet for the better. I hope I rub off a bit on anyone reading these posts, and give them a good impression about aspergers.
