One of my favorite players, under used and rarely the option he should have been on the floor, startin in his mid career usually got his work off of broken plays and oppurtunities instead of having plays ran for him. The problem with that is when a player knows they are capable of scoring at will and they don't get oppurtunity they force things and take shots they wouldn't or shouldn't take regularly. Tim Thomas still has game, hope he's back next year if his wife is healthy. The Dog !!!!
Tim Thomas had one of the smoothest games in the league. If he wasn't a tool and had his head on straight, he might have been one of the best players of his generation. Even so, he was one of my favorite players to watch.
Anyone remember when Tim Thomas fouled out in the playoffs and then took the padding off the back boards support? I've been looking for this video it was the strangest thing they had to stop the game for five minutes while they figured out how to put the support back together.
I hate that he fell under the radar a little. I remember back in the early 90's when I went to a game when they played the Celtics. That was when I fell in love with Tim and the way he played the game. He can become one of the greatest players in the NBA if he wanted to.
Tim Thomas came from Paterson,N.J got all this money and did nothing 4 Paterson ,I mean nothing, Dont they all does it,leave the hood and never look BACK!!!!!!!
i remember watching the bucks when tim thomas was young and he was a good player. After he got his big contract he went out and bought either a Rolls Royce or a Bentley, probably both and then he seemed to not care anymore. He began playing not to get hurt and you never saw him do any big dunks anymore either after he got his money.
this dude is a waste of talent, for someone his size with his athleticism he shoulda avged at least 18-20 pts his career (sadly he only avg's 11.6). He just camps at the 3 pt line all day long..........
When he came into the NBA I thought he was gonna great player. Dude could jump like a motherfucker, and knock down threes in his sleep. I dont know what happened to him, but it seemed like he stopped trying.
your obviously blind to the fact that we competed phenominally last season and that we got A LOT better this off season. better defense. better offense. wcf's at least nxt season

Tim Thomas blows and I'm embarrassed to be a Mavs fan now. I highly doubt he is the piece of the puzzle that's gonna fix our downward spiraling team.

he is replacing Deavan George as the 11th man.
the simple fact that he can make his 3's makes him a huge upgrade over that clod.
