I have never applied on top but i am inspired to def try it this way...seems less tedious for me and more comfortable fr the client...it seems to be more quick too! I'll still apply mine underneath...btw, where do you purchase the tape from?

I love the way you applied the individuals. When i was certified by ardell they showed us with the client sitting in the chair and eyes low but not closed. Your method looks more comfortable for the client. I will be using dmakeupartist way. Thanks for all your tutorials

these are eyelash clusters. Individual eyelashes are actually single lashes applied to your individual lashes.

Great vid though, and I agree - would have been nice to see the lady at the end with her eyes open!

@cosmiccandy These are called individuals....for years have been called this. single strand lashes are called extensions and this was one of my first videos...it was more about the technique. thanks for watching.

im new to this. i want to get my eyebrows to look lik that. im in a very some southern city that none probably even heard about. my eyebrows is hard to arch. i want that high peak over the eyebrow one look but i want it to look full. the problem i have is that my brows get very thinat that end and if when i cut them there is barely anything there then they look too short and i have a fat face not good. also i want to buy lastes but im not sure to but whole ones to individuals. should dey go top!

I couldn't imagine letting someone put tape on my delicate under eye area. My mouth dropped when I realized that's what was going on. omg.

@NedegaDolma lol...it's not duck tape ya know. The tape that is used won't damage you skin it is peeled off very easily in the end, not snatched. People use tape to apply eyeshadow and blush angles all the time. It won't hurt a thing. I have been doing this for 22yrs now...I would never apply anything to a client's face that was harmful in any way.

I actually do my brows with a razor and fill in some days it can be a hit or miss with my arch always look good however i can never get the exact arch on a daily basis.. how do you keep it so precise?

I grew my brows out years ago went to get them done with a straight razor and they filled it in with a powder and pencil and i was like that was the point of me growing them to full capacity to not fill it in with anything

@mslynes1 the eyelash adhesive sticks the lashes to their lashes and i am not sure what you are asking towards the end...

Just wondering.....why did you apply the lashes on top of her lases and not underneath?? I mean i've always been doing my false individual lashes underneath my real lashes....I didnt see the end result with her eyes open. Is there a major difference???

@keirra041288 Everyone can't handle the fumes from the glue. The over technique was around waayy before the under technique. It's just a preference and it's usually done as a service.

@CourtzDaShizz O, she probably told you that because it's easier to jack up your brows with a razor than it is with tweezers if you don't know what you are doing....lol. But yeah, if you go to a professional the straight blade is cool...now a days tweezing, waxing and threading really thins out your brows in the long run. It will prevent your brows from growing at ALL. In other words you will soon be old with no brows at all.lol

Great Work ! And I like the technique that you used for the lashes by placing them on top of the eyelid versus underneath. I tried doing it underneath on my self and I found it rather difficult and I didn't like it at all ! Do you ever place the lashes underneath as well ?

@MommyMougal I'm not sure what you mean. The lashes are on the upper eyelid/lashes. Do you mean underneath?

@MommyMougal If so, all clients can't wear their lashes that way. Some are very sensitive to the glue. Some are bothered by the new growth when they began to flap. The way that lashes are applied depends on my client needs and wants. There are a few of ways to apply the lashes.

@Venustarr, well, I knew how to do makeup before I became an esthetician too. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do to accomplish your goals. If you have to go that route to get certified than you just have to just do it. It should not be offensive, it's just advise. I know what's in other states but all states are not equal.You asked about GA. That's the way that it is here. Some people move away to accomplish their goals.

Hey, yeah they will come of if you put a steamy wash cloth on them. Lashes are like having a weave on your eyes..They're very delicate. You have to wash around your eyelash line very gently. They can last from 1 day to 2 wks. Depends on the person and how you take care of them
