Does anyone remember the original (or one of the originals) recording of this song? My dad used ot have it on a record. It was Howard and Vestal singing, but a bit more uptempo than this, and they had piano and a horn section. It's Awesome! I wish someone would put that recording on youtube.

It was a shock to me to learn that they had passed. I didn't find out till around the summer time of 2007. But I did not know that the son died too! When did he die and what happend to him if you happen to know?

In this video the younger fellow is Johnny Minick and not related to the Goodmans.  Rusty and Sam Goodman performed with their brother Howard "Happy" Goodman until the 1980s. Rusty and Sam died in 1990 and 1991, Howard died in 2002, and Vestal died in 2003. Howard and Vestal's son Rick played drums with the family in the 1970s.
