I don't think you get the point of being broken and spilled out. Of coarse what God did is more than enough for our salvation but the Bible on many occasions says that Christians should die to ourselves and spill our lives for him. Basically giving up everything we though was dear to us and giving it all to him. Just like the woman in the song who gave all her treasure.

Every time I hear this song I just start crying, this is one of my favorite gospel songs. When you think about it no one else would be spilled out for you except for Jesus! He continues to bless me. I can't stop thinking about only Jesus would broken and spilled out for us. Please understand that if he would not have done this we would not be here! He is awesome. He gave up his self willingly. He was used up and wasted for me.
