  • oh jimmy. he knew he was cool.

  • Flagged. This video was obviously rape of the guitar.

  • looks like theyre on drugs

  • some people cry some people die from the wicked ways of love, but i just keep rollin on from the grace of the lord above-Robert Plant

  • :57 to 1:04 so angus's stomping trick isn"t original? news to me

  • And JPJ and JB holding it all together........

  • great song¡¡¡¡

  • Jimmy Page the greatest of al...

  • @ERPPP with all due respect just have some credibility in your op sorry!!!

  • @ERPPP WHATTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • good times good music dowmriver!!

  • I would seriously fuck Jimmy page senseless.

  • So just wondering how many people can play like jimmy ? like exactly or even better ? if you cant STFU enjoy the music and wish you had 1/8th of the talent you just watched and listened to

  • Porco Dio che gruppo....

  • man, why didn't they include Heartbreaker on the Led Zeppelin DVD?

  • wow... how the fuck is the one person who disliked this. Go back to your rap faggot.

  • @Sparrow10567 you can like both ya know

  • Love teh part at 5:30

  • It could sound partially different because in 75' Jimmy Page had new amps. They don't sound as powerful or loud as his in 72'.

  • who's cooler than jimmy page? come on now

  • @v00dochild22 Buckethead ?????? No I'm joking nobody is coolerthan Page. But there are guitarists like Buckethead who are thinking they CAN BE cooler!

  • His number 1 is a 58

  • did jimmy page have a gain switch on his guitars or something

  • @abester22 i saw this one interview that he did and it was more recent so he is older but its page so he still awesome but one of his less pauls had a switch on his one of the volumes or tone switches and it changes it i could be wrong but i think thats wat it is

  • @VelvetRoses2000 so yeah it is a gain switch

  • @abester22

no its not a gain switch.

what is happening is he is turning up and down the volume knob which controls the amount of signal going to the amp. his amp is on the distorted channel and when signal (volume) is sent to the amp, the amp in turn distorts more or less according to the amount of signal.

  • @mistad00m true true, i was doing that yesterday with my guitar. imagine how loud it must have been

  • was robert plant smoking a doobie in the beginning?

  • it's a 59 les paul

  • I think it's a 58 Les Paul .

  • @sj1778 it is a 59, jimmy page owns 3 59 LPs His "No. 1" "No. 2" "No. 3", in this vid i beleive it is his No. 1

  • WELL BUT I CAN PLAY BEST

  • does page use a 59 lp

  • john paul jones messed up at :23

  • wat is it from 5:30 to 5:40??

  • @VelvetRoses2000 its 2BOURREE" Jimmy its an idol to me!

  • Only Jimmie Page could have the authority to practically change songs in the middle of a solo.

  • tabs for this live version would be greatly appreciated, anyone? especially 4:04 - 5:01

  • just learn by ear no1 tabs out the live performances

  • JIMMY IS SO sexy xD

  • I dont think robert plant was the best guitarrest. He even said himself he took one lesson then quit playing because he was horrible. Jimmy page is the best guitarrest ever

  • to anybody who thinks that plant isnt the best guitarist ever, its not about just speed, its about knowing when to put what where.

  • fail ... epic fail dude ... thats the singer.. page is the guitarist

  • Fantastic.I was there. This was the second encore and they went on to do more. They came on 5 to 8 and left the stage at 12.20!! Best show i have ever seen. Many thanks for posting, brought back lots of happy memories.Oh to be 18 again.

  • @zepfiend1 Same exact night as this video?

  • @zepfiend1 Yeah, I hear ya. Oh to be 18 again, I wish. Life was so enjoyable, so nice.

  • I am aware this is a noobish question and i am ashamed to ask but what is that piece by bach ,page does inbetween the blue grass part ?

  • I'm pretty sure it's called Bouree.

  • cheers mate

    ok next question :(

Does anyone know what the blue grass part is actually called ??

    thanks :D

  • Bouree in E minor.

  • The alcohol was flowing their blood that night.

  • And that is why Jimmy Page is the best guitarist to ever live. That solo right there was absolutely fantastic. It contained so many elements of different types of music and a wonderful rythm and beat. Long live JP, RP, and JPJ.

  • dude i couldnt agree with you more!!! jimmy page is a striaght beast! the guy is not normal!! BUT HOW DARE YOU fucking forget about the greatest drummer of all time ... JOHN BONHAM!!! for tha.... i have to call you a peice of shit

  • Hey, hey, hey, no need for that. I didn't forget, just didn't mention. But if you like...each member of Led Zeppelin was/is pretty much the best at what they did/do. John Bonham's drumming was not only ridiculously powerful and unique in its style, but his solos and sense of rhythm were absolutely unmatched. John Paul Jones' bass playing was great (a good example being Communication Breakdown), but he could also compose orchestral masterpieces. And I don't even have to say anything about Plant.

  • and JB you forgot JB

  • It didn't seem right to say long live John Bonham when he's already gone...but I understand your point.

  • @TheRisingSunshine Completely agreed my friend. The man is sheer genius whether everybody likes him or not

  • @TheRisingSunshine - hmm, I think Iommi could give him a run for his money. Not as much a showman, but technically even better (Page got sloppy). Mind you, Pagey's way of coming up with such goddamn catchy riffs betters Iommi's - and Page often incorporated vastly diverse things into his solos (even Bach harpsichord music on one occasion!). Hmm...

  • @TheRisingSunshine - in fact, the Bach I was thinking of is this very video. What distinguishes Page from Iommi, above all else, is Page's ability to improvise. It didn't always pay off, but somehow Iommi's solos sound too prepared and, as a result, I tend to spend them listening to Geezer Butler's superb bass playing instead.

  • @TheRisingSunshine youre forgetting someone

  • @TheRisingSunshine And long dead bonzo x)

  • I took a break from Zeppelin and now I'm back for this blues-jazz-rock sound. How amazing are these guys.

  • @danslatente the same thing happened to me and now im more into it than ever

  • Jimmy Page has really strong sweat glands

  • 5:22-5:29 that part is great

  • 2:21-3:14 thats what is tapping all about

  • i just love how he pulls that cool kinda square dancey part right outta thin air

  • jazz square! ^.^

  • 4:07-4:50 Best freakin part! It's all amazing, but that bit is definitely my favorite, gets me tapping my foot every time.

  • Yeah, where the heck did he pull that from, seriously! :D

  • Oh oh my god this is art AWESOME WONDERFUL BEATIFUL

  • is it possible for a band to be this awesome?

  • apparently so

  • lol 4:04 someone yells "Jimmy!"

  • lol at 3:12 too .

  • love that "Heartbreaker" at 7:40

  • questa versione è fantastica...l'assolo è una cosa divina....grandi Zeppole xD

  • jimbob4512 your a fucking retard hes improvising which is called a guitar solo dumbass hes not really playing another song

  • dude, get a life. Guitarists play other guitarist stuff all the time. just like how he plays Bouree by Bach later in the song. Besides if you listen to Milk Cow Blues by Elvis you can deffinitly hear a resemblence to his song and Jimmy Pages guitar solo at 3:58

  • This is my favorite version, best version!

  • what song is he playing from 3:58 - 5:11

  • thats called a guitar solo

  • ya but i thought that was a song that he was doing a cover of just like how he does a cover of bach's bouree ( 5:30 )besides i only asked because i thought i heard that somewhere else

  • tull

  • I was thinking it had Elvis/Boogie influence and did a search on YouTube for the past hour and it sounds a lot like the solo from Elvis' "Milk Cow Blues". You have to find the correct version.

  • Damn, that sucks. Well it's an epic vid, thanks very much for uploading it again and perservering so I can witness the awesomness that is Led Zeppelin.

  • Why hasn't this badboy had more views? :(

  • This is rock and roll right here.

  • Kick ass man. Only a few people can carry out a one hand solo

  • was that concert on some DVD?

  • does anyone know how he plays the solo

  • which one the first solo is hammer ons and pentatonic in a and the second is something

  • the hammer on one its so tough to play

  • No one knows. His powers of Godhood are beyond mortal understanding.

  • Marry me Robert<33

  • Should i shout "I'm SECOND!"?

Really you are posting something with near to no meaning at all - To my comment:
