Gigalypuff does have one use. His range is increased incredibly. And you can tweak the thing for eve more glitchy fun. You can make puff really heavy and really strong.

I'm surprised that one of these videos finally cover Pivot Break, which was great in melee. Along with technical and mindgames, it also works for pressure, pursuit, and trapping. I find that Captian Falcon, Ganondorf, Wolf, Mario, ROB, and Lucas can make insane use of it. I'm not good enough with everyone to tell who else can make optimum use of it.

With the turnip dashing with Peach, most characters can do this with any item, Glide Tossing, Zero Suit and Pit do it extremely well.

Yes, Ive been wondering forever on how to do the falco up smash out of dash!!!

i do the IC tech a little different. I named it pass grabbing. I do mine by press back on the stick, pressing Z immediately after. This passes it to a nana who should turn around and grab them with proper timing before they get anywhere. Then, you dash away from nana in the direction she was facing, and then pressing towards nana and grab at near the same time. This passes it back into popo. The only advantage to this technique over yours, is that it creates little position change. harder, tho.

for the first thing i said, you can either choose to Up+B an grab onto the ledge when first gliding up, or choose to Up+B and then wait to loop around and then grab the ledge, here's proof of it^

just type meta knight cruel brawl and it should be the first one you see (at the top i mean).

you forgot to include meta knights up+B when near a ledge. You gotta time it perfectly though, but you can be invincible when first grabbing the ledge then spamming Up+B again when your invincibility runs out; pretty much untouchable. Also, to spice things up a bit, you can fly under the stage and grab the ledge on the other side as well, and then repeat with going under to reach the other ledge.

My main focus wasn't really with the names but the people who can use the Boost Smash. Of course it'd be a pain to redo everything but maybe you could add it to your description so people would know that more characters can use it? Unless that technique wasn't what I thought it was, then you can put Boost Smashing in Episode 4. (Magus has a video of this tech uploaded)

Sorry if you've already heard this Omnigamer, but :

Pivot Break is AKA Reverse Aerial Rush (RAR)

and Smash-cancelled dashes are AKA Boost Smashing. Link, Sheik, and Wario can also utilize this. Also, when you attempted it with Falco, that seemed more of a DLX Cancel, since with Boost Smashing, the Dash Attack's Hitbox doesn't appear.

Meh, I can call them as I wish. A technique by another name is still the same technique.

I personally won't go with a lot of the nomenclature that pops up with these first waves of "techniques" because many of them are silly (and imply being more usefull than they actually are) or have a player's name attached to them. Crediting anything to a single player within the first year of a game's lifespan is ridiculous, as there are undoubtedly many other players that discover it as well.

Great video. I just thought I should point out that you don't have to connect with the dash attack to cancel with the upsmash, you upsmash really quickly and it will still work. Granted, the timing is a lot easier when you hit somene.

THANK YOU for the vid. I like this digest version of Smashboards, which take 50 years per page to load. I wish you'd just use nat sound, though, and not add the techno. I like hearing the sound effects and regular music :(  And go back to doing voice-overs - I like that you experimented, but I had to keep scrolling down to read up on some of the techniques, and pausing, and that was kind of awkward.
