my pc can run crysis with high setting it smooth, only some time got little laggy i will say like 85-90% it smooth if i turn the Antisotropic to X4 but verything still on high setting my computer is XP Pentium 2.80GHZ 2.00Ram with 250GTS 1GB and the price a lot cheaper then alienware i got it 600 dollar only included video card.

Question? My Crysis has a problem. When I go and customize me weapon, the game pauses for 1 minute then it goes to the screen where i can do it. after I am done doing it it takes another minutes to get back to playing? Do i have to update crysis or what? please answer anyone?

-EVGA 9800GX2 ssc edition

-2 GB ddr2 dual channel RAM(going to upgrade)

-500GB WD Caviar HD

-Asus P5N-E SLI mobo (going to upgrade most likely)

and thats all the important parts. I can run crysis on very high and I egt around 40-50 fps most of the time. it drops to the 35's sometimes but the GX2 is awesome

I got this same laptop mine is blue and i only have one video card 7900gs and my CPU was 1.8 at the time I upgraded my CPU to the 2.4Ghz which was pretty good it ran Crysis Nice on Medium Settings. And I was able to run Crysis Warhead on medium which still ran good and looked good.

Remember get your newest Video/sound driver.i hadd vista + i installed alienware theme.

i got problems playing my game. but not lag or sound probs. i think its your sound card or Video card driver or you had 10000 windows open when you instaled it. i know the installer only copy files but it can make some files not fully copyed= game crash

when i installed vista my performance was terrible on my m9750.. then i realised that even when you are plugged into AC power your Vista power profile still effects performance. Turned it up to "high performance" in the power profile and every thing was great.

ok well take a look at the benchmarks 7900 gtx is actually kills the 8600 not only that my mate has a 8600 gt he cant run cod 4 all highest on 1280 x 1024 where as my 7900 runs it at like 40+ fps. not only that look at the ice clock screensaver i get 32 fps my mates 8600 gt gets 21 fps so 7900 fucks up 8600 gt and the other thing is with physx it sucks on the 8 series and was realy only designed for 9 series and above just look at the benchies
