Filmen en rijden tegenvallen!? hehe.. weinig problemen mee.. hehehe.. 310 pk.. ja.. zucht.. het is dat mijn collega's toch al banden verslinden met maar 250 pk, zou zonde zijn hen een 310 te geven. Maar je rijdt zelf in Friesland denk ik? Zou gaaf zijn als je ook begon met filmpjes maken. Maar als ik het goed gezien heb, kan de Double Diamond 2 bakken tegelijk pakken (grabbers) maar ook 1000 of 1200 liter (plastic) bedrijfsafvalbakken? zo ja.. dan vertel ik de baas dat eventjes niet... voor hij ideen krijgt dat ik zware bakken mag gaan verplaatsen.. hehehe
Ja dat klopt, die kan hij ook laden, hoeven wij niet te doen hoor, dat doet de afdeling bedrijfsservice weer, ik ga van de week even proberen om een filmpje te maken
We require a codriver as usually the stacks of bins are not set properly and need to be checked for plastic as many citizens donot seem to realise the difference between paper/small cardboard and assortments of plastic/restwaste. The amount of bins Per day and failure from the citizens to keep distance between bins and between objects in the streets causes us to have a codriver, also due to RSI-complaints. And no, usually we get in the cab (we know :-)

NOt always, but it's a treat when they are... we call em "clusters" We dont have trucks for Bottles, well.. we do have cranetrucks for that, who lift big square containers with diff colour glasscompartments.. and no .. in case your asking, no vid of that, not much chance either, sorry. Regular waste is done by the other trucks, one meter less long then mine. (and they smell.. hehe)
At the moment we've got two rearloaders and 5 sideloaders besides mine collecting the regular garbage, about 5 rearloaders for Businesscontainers, 2 cranetrucks for Big square containers for glass and paper (one of them does odd jobs, like picking up leaves, treestumps for the county, and there's a little cranetruck that does illegalwaste, one rearloader without loadingsystem for big waste, like couches, fences.. hedges and such (1 cubic meter per customer) 1 sewercleanertruck.. what'diforget?
I was hoping it would drop outtof the claw by ramming it up top.. but it was too much stuck, and indeed.. the reason the other cardboard fell off was that the sensors indicated that the grabber wasn't closed, that's why it stopped at about 75% of the way up in the first place.. We cleaned it up though... hehe
I noticed that feature how the claw does that ramming at the top, seems very helpful. It's better than rocking the whole arm to loosen stuck material.
All those safety features seem like both a good thing, and a pain, it's good if you don't want to lose a bin in the hopper, but a pain if you are trying to get rid of something with the arm.
The arm on my old truck would do exactly what I told it to do... even if I decided to dump a bin on the side of my truck instead of the hopper lol
Grinn.. the safety of the grabber closing by itself about 60-75% of the way is a blessing if you're training newbies... i once let a bin with restwaste drop from just before that point, i was VERY happy it landed exactly vertical (on it's bottom) as there was spaghetti and all sorts of food in the top (that wouldda made a right mess!!) It's however still hard to describe and learn safetyzones to newcomers as they will only pay attention to what the arm does, not the surroundings

In the last few seconds, I was amazed to see that you didn't drop the box into the truck. So I'm guessing your claw won't open when it's raised???

I was hoping it would drop outtof the claw by ramming it up top.. but it was too much stuck, and indeed.. the reason the other cardboard fell off was that the sensors indicated that the grabber wasn't closed, that's why it stopped at about 75% of the way up in the first place.. We cleaned it up though... hehe

All those safety features seem like both a good thing, and a pain, it's good if you don't want to lose a bin in the hopper, but a pain if you are trying to get rid of something with the arm.
The arm on my old truck would do exactly what I told it to do... even if I decided to dump a bin on the side of my truck instead of the hopper lol
