My cousin bought me two of these for baby sitting (one for me and one for me brother) and right once we took it out of the package it was easy to learn. It literally is just a short skateboard. We're trying to make the break that stops it when you get off stop it while you're still on it, we thought about making the break have a rubber slab, but ruled that out because it wears. If anyone finds an ingenious way to make it so that it acts as an actual brake, that'd be great.

I just got one yesterday. I had know idea what it was. I tried it out a little bit ago and it was a lot of fun. My only complaint is that I can't turn as short as I would like. I'm on a farm and live on a dirt road. So I can only ride in our shed which has a lot of equipment in it which doesn't leave a whole lot of room. I was hoping it would be kind of like the ripstick which I love because it can turn so short. The sole skate is fun though. I

Was in the market for a board, and was looking at The Wave and various Ripsticks. The Wave was $37, but seemed cheaply made, while the Ripsticks were all $70+. When I saw the SoleSkate for just $40, then saw the braking and three-wheel steering, I picked one up quickly.

Good vid- looks easy enough to ride, and I like that I can stuff my pads and helmet in a bag, then clip this to the back with a 'biner.

@squashdudes Well, it depends. A Ripstik is much better at what's called "street surfing", and is generally more practical (once you learn how to ride one). On the other hand, if you want something that is ultra-portable, and is somewhat cheaper, then get the Sole Skate. Thanks for watching!
