  • whats the name of the song in the background?

  • love bath-air

  • Subtitles?

  • I very strongly think lamp shades were made of human skin all you need to do is google it to find images of such lamps.

  • @dragonswordcannon

In this case, it's the same as the shrunken heads. Both skin lampshades and shrunken heads have been found around the world. BUT, none of these artifacts are German, much less Jewish body parts fasioned into these things by Nazi's. Right after the war there was a display of items to prove it these claims. However, all the items were either fake, or imported from other parts of the world. Nazi's never made skin lampshades, human soap, hair matresses, shrunken heads, etc.

  • @getrealrubberseal Poor Ed Gein.. must hate when Nazi's steal his work! gjidoafjdioajoidghadfklj

  • @getrealrubberseal "Nazi's never made skin lampshades, human soap"

The following link has a well known and 'MSM' respects his opinon on matters. Watch up to and starting specificly at 1:18 you will hear it. All of this is packed full of facts that blow away the lies of ww2.

    watch?v=1xhuSKaxXUk

  • @needledropdamagedone

And is much, much better for you.

  • Can't understand half of what he's saying...

  • @V0r4xiz

    Exactly what I was thinking...

  • the part about lampshades from human skin i think i heard i folkschool back some 25 years ago.."commonknowledge ftw" I sertanly never tried to question this "fact" before

soap and lampshades, and goldteeth pulling etsetera

  • It is kind of irrelevant. The Nazis commited such horrible crimes that the lampshades or soap would just be another grain of sand on a beach of horror. Afterall, it's not so much what happened to those people when they were dead that matters but what had been done to them before and why they were murdered

  • @giliellthesecond So why go there? Why doi they lie about soap and lampshades? Which by the way, have been proven to be nothing more than hearsay. Hearsay this, hearsay that, what is the legal reason hearsay is NOT allowed in an honest court room? Right, it is unreliable and mostly myth.

  • @ISamuelII

Probably because it kind of makes it "accesable". Those objects are so close to us that they allow us to grasp the horror. That's why those stories get chosen to be told. I don't even think that people consciously lie about them. They hear it, it fits the overall picture, they believe it. Hell, I believed those stories and I'm not very gullible. It's like all those documentaries that focus on 3 or 4 people: We can't grasp the horror of millions, but the fate of a few.

  • @giliellthesecond "Horror"?? Hearsay horror makes great movies. So the fable of the ' boy that cried wolf ' didn't sink in. Speaking of, have you heard of a guy named Herman Rosenblat? To quote the guy,

"it is my imagination, it is my truth".

    And he's sticking to it.

  • @ISamuelII As an Atheist I do not pander to any faith. I go after those that promote lunacy no matter where it comes from. The more pronounced the lies, the more they need to be taken down.

There are some that still stick to the idea that little white lies really do no harm, so why not stretch things just a little? The next thing you know there is a fight over the lie and someone is going to die.

When a witness is found out to lie, what is done with the rest of their testimony? Muted.

  • @ISamuelII

I'm not saying those stories should be repeated when you know better (btw, the nazis did tan human skin, just the lampshades are unproven myths). I was trying to explain why those stories get repeated over and over again when others for which we have the clear evidence don't.

There's something that's called an honest mistake. There's a list with 20 horrible things the Nazis have done. We have clear evidence for 19, but none for 1. But that 1 thing doesn't stand out....

  • ...it fits the general picture. So there is no reason to disbelieve it unless you get around to check the sources. Or do you deny that the rest of the Holocaust happened? That they conducted medical experiments on children which we wouldn't do to a guniea pig? That the shorn hair of prisoners was used for felt? That they murdered people in gas chambers and burned their bodies? Even though the lampshades are fake, they're not worse than the things that are true.

  • @giliellthesecond The hair cuts were to keep the bugs down. You are generally correct in the stories that get repeated often turn out to be the worst of the lies, eg:Rosenblat. The Weasly one is another Herman teller of stories, yet these are the ones they believe.

So what is done in an 'Honest Court ' when the witness has been found to pass evewn one mild white lie? They are forever muted from testifying.

  • @ISamuelII

I don't quite get your point.

What are you saying? That the Holocaust is a lie? That Auschwitz is a lie? That Anne frank just wrote fiction?

And no, a witness who makes an honest mistake i.e. saying something what they believe to be the truth are not dismissed forever.

That there are some myths about some minor details of the Nazi system doesn't make any argument. It shows that we should be careful in our argument and always check our sources, but nothing more.

  • @giliellthesecond "And no, a witness who makes an honest mistake i.e. saying something what they believe to be the truth are not dismissed forever."

I did not imply an honest mistake, an outright lie, then yes they are muted further. You are confusing the witness to hearsay witnesses. "Gas chambers" without proper vents? Are you seriously going to accept the idea they ley that gas free to dispurse in the nearby camp?

You mention Anne Frank as if it was a true story. I am surprised, cont.

  • Cont. I am surprised anyone these days would bring up that story as some example of nazi horrors. Did you know how much of it was written with a ball point pen? Who was this third person writer, or was it just more Apple tossing* imaginations all for a book deal?

What was the underlying cause of marking jewish owned businesses so the people could decide? Could it possibly have been the international boycott of all items German by the jewish, but 5 yrs later?

    *Herman Rosenblat ref.

  • @giliellthesecond What it really shows is when you take away the horrific second anfd third party hysteria, you have what other nations did to their prisoners, with the exception of the Japanese on the mainland, and the before ww2 east European crimes against humanity.

Consider the source is a huge underline of all "facts" you've been told.

  • @ISamuelII

    Oh, a propper Holocaust denialist

I guess those family members of mine are just on a looong vavcation on a tropical island together with Elvis.

And all those Jews probably never existed in the first place, they were made up afterwards by the allies. They also manufactured the corpses and of course all the documents, I guess.

If there's a bold liar here it's you.

  • @giliellthesecond How do you know if they are of the many that for some reason forgot what their names were as they arrived to Ellis Isl. I can't come to imagine that so many jewish people were so ignorant as adults that they forgot how to write down their OWN names. Save me your disgust. The red cross has population figures pre war and post war, how does the jewish population increase if so many millions(TM) were kilt.

There is hearsay and then there are outright lies.

  • @ISamuelII It is okay, I saw that coming.

  • @giliellthesecond Best response I've read.

  • @giliellthesecond Not as bad as the Japs. Unit 731 Anyone?

  • Well done for admitting when you are wrong. Too many youtubers get called out and ignore it. Both in the Athiest and Thiest community.

You have one again proven yourself worthy of respect dicky boy.

  • I don't get it, why are we discussing this again?

  • htt p://w ww.npr.org/2010/12/28/132416206/New-Book-Tells-Story-Of-The-Lampshade

  • @qYnBzWFc This is good, I think this pretty much debunks all of the skeptics.

  • @qYnBzWFc It tells the story of A lampshade. It is defiantly not the one which was displayed on the table in the news reels. There is defiantly nothing to link it to the camp. The original story from the inmates talk of tattooed skin being used to make the leather items. The papers presented at the war crimes trials talk of tattooed skin lampshades. No such items where produced as evidence during the trial. Indeed there were a dozen example of areas of skin but zero items made from the pieces.

  • Bravo! My respect for you just went up several notches :)

  • I can't make-out what he's saying. He talks too quietly to have that music playing in the background.

  • I don't get it.

  • @LatumWay

    Me neither.

  • @LatumWay

In Coughlan's last video, he said the Nazi's made lampshades out of human skin. Lots of people in the comment section told him it was a myth. So here, Coughlan is posting a video to correct his error. There were no lampshades or human soap; those are old stories that have long been debunked. I'm glad to see Coughlan correcting himself... he deserves a lot of respect for that. :)

  • Good on yah man for admitting your own mistakes. Takes a bigger man to a admit his mistakes takes a smaller man to be Thunderf00t :)

  • @Surfking9000

    ROFL!

  • @DixieComic No. But you can haz anon-hair underwear. Itchy, but with added 1337 H4x0R5.

  • Seeing as google don't want me to post links, I will just have to direct people to some websites.

    Google the following -

"Frau Ilse Koch Human-Skin Atrocities" (first link on page. Within page is a link to a forensic report)

"Auschwitz Museum Human Soap" (first link on page gives some details about analysis carried out in 2006)

  • @richieblackhearted

are those the links in question?

    1. jewishvirtuallibrary[.]org/jsource/Holocaust/skin[.]html

    2. en[.]auschwitz[.]org[.]pl/m/index[.]php? option=com_content& task=view& id=55&Itemid=8

  • @SoneGurke Yup. With a little bit of tweaking. I tried for a while to post the links but all I got was "Error. Try again" so I thought it ieasier to give google directions.

  • I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure Michael Shermer debunked this on the Donahue show back in the 90's.

  • Ilsa's husband was considered sadistic and insane...by Nazi standards. The most that anyone can say about Human lampshades is that it's inconclusive, at best. But of those who saw them, most were absolutely sure of what they were, and what they saw. And it was of no surprise to anyone involved.

But let's give the Bitch of Buchanwald the benefit of a doubt on this one. The fires of hell won't burn any cooler for it. (oh, how I wish there were fires of hell, for people like that)

  • What about the propaganda about Genghis Khan's so called "mountain of skulls"? WHERE IS THE PROOF??? ;-)

  • The problem with the goat skin defence vs Jew skin allegation is that it was 'just goat skin' in the opinion of the American CO who failed to retain it. We don't know for sure either way because no one saw fit to collect it as evidence at the time (Largely because they had pits full of emaciated corpses for that). Like wise, the Jew soap allegation came from so many sources, prisoners and camp workers and guards, that no one felt the need to retain the evidence with so much witness testimony.

  • @AnonEyeMouse Frankly, the ghoulish details of trophies and so on is all beside the point in my opinion - the act of industrialised disposal of human beings is far beyond some freakish misuse of the corpses.

If you tell me that someone wants to kill me, skin me and wear me as a raincoat, I'm going to obsessing about the first, not the other two.

  • They didn't look like had enough fat left on them to make soap out of anyways.

  • @ScentedNectar The soap thing appears to be a myth....the lampshade not so much. The one example that was found was definitely human tissue, unfortunately the process of actually tanning apparently made it so an ethnic origin profile is impossible.

I am sure though, that somebody just skinned somebody else to make that lampshade just to mess with everyone...you know, for teh LULZ.

  • @BobChaos23 Not quite the lulz I would like as a hobby, but to each their own, eh? I just hope they waited until the person was already dead and was not killed just for the lamp-making handicraft. Dried flowers, I could get into though for lulz. They're a little less controversial too. I could decorate a lamp with them and no one would bat an eye. :)

  • @ScentedNectar It's like those people who microwave animals for fun...what's up with them? O_o

  • @BobChaos23 When my cat is bad, he sometimes gets threatened with things like that. I think I'm joking when I say it, but he is a very evil cat who is out to take over my home and bite me a lot, so I'm not totally sure. :)

  • @BobChaos23

    It was goat skin.

  • @getrealrubberseal Hmmm, goat skin tests as human tissue. Interesting.

  • @BobChaos23

What makes you think that was a Nazi made lamp shade? It was found in New Orleans. Also, if you look at the photo of the nazi lamp shade (which was staged) and the New Orleans lamp shade (do that now, go to google images) you will IMMEDIATELY see they are not the same, not even made with similar techniques. You are looking for reasons to connect two things that have no connection.

  • also, there is a human skin lampshade about, there just isnt any way to conntect it to Buchenwald

  • So Dick your song is not accurate and correct?

    Call it Satyre!

  • wasnt it Buchenwald instead of dakau?

  • Okay, that gave me a grain of doubt, but I'm not ready to believe just anything on that guy's word.

So, we'll never know how bad the Nazis quite were.

  • @zarkoff45 ...besides the slaughter of millions of innocent people?

  • I don't understand this video

  • charged with misuse of resources ? O.o . . . Fuck, I'd better stop stealing pens from work.

  • @manhunt48 - Yeah and you can put that fucking photocopier back that you have on the roof rack on your car too. Did you really think we wouldn't notice.

  • Well, that lamb could have been a jew, we don't know that do we.

The stories that they used their foreskins as rubber bands has been thoroughly debunked though.

  • Kudos & respect for knowledge, respect and humility - as well as for a damned good sense of fun & reality when entertaining us :-)

Despite being a total isht sometimes - you're a good man at the core.

  • very good

  • Oh Richard! I know you're taking a poke at SnowWalker, but earlier today (or last night) he actually issued a genuine apology to you because he didn't know about the "Bitch of Buchanwald." I sent him links to information this morning.

  • WoW - tnx & very interesting

  • I respect a man who is willing to admit that he is wrong. My respect Coughlan.

  • i hate nazi

  • folklore can become "truth" if accepted as such. isn't that how religions are born as well?

  • @gothatfunk Who the hell flagged that as spam?

    Excellent point sir.

  • 4th i suppose no shift nor dotting
