Very good description of Rudy--he is VERY masculine, and I can truly see him wearing that bracelet in defiance to his detractors. That and he always looks with whatever he wears. :)
Look at his expression at 4:00-4:02: there are actual tears in his eyes! I feel so sad for him. I just want to run to hold him, and comfort him. The music you use makes this scene even more moving.
I've noticed lots of people keep jewelry from broken relationships, perhaps to make themselves feel better, and as if to say to the person who hurt them, at least I still have this from the marriage.
I hope he kept the bracelet to flaunt it to NR while he saw other women.
I read that Rudy continued wearing Hudnut's/Rambova's bracelet on his wrist after their split. I think another reason why he did that was because the media/press thought it was a "feminine" thing for a man to wear a bracelet back then. Rudy always disagreed. Rudy was very masculine. So, he may have kept the bracelet on to continue his defiance.
I read he was buried with the braclet. I've often wondered during the performance he gave when he was raged in son of the sheik, (the classic rape scene) if wondered....if he actually drew that performance from the anger he felt toward nr??? Mabye so, maybe not as he was a great actor and was just doing his job as one, however it was a powerful scene and the thought came to mind. ???
He's such an incredible actor. His acting gets better and better in each film. I love how he conveys such emotion with his eyes. It reminds me of the description of his character in "The Young Rajah". . . . ."such magnetic eyes. . . and so soulful."
I heard that too. He took out some actresses, but i don't know if any were actual affairs or not. He made comments like he was glad not to be chained anymore or something. Yet, he kept wearing Natacha's slave chain.
Wow. Thank you very much. Rudy carries this film. He's practically in every scene. There's not a whole lot to the story, but you can't take your eyes off him. Rudy shows us his emotional range. The music is by John Barry from the 1993 film Indecent Proposal. :)
It's too bad some of his female co-stars were a little lackluster in comparison to his screen presence. I find this actress a bit weak. No wonder he chose Vanky to play off of in The Son of the Shiek.
I don't know much about Gertrude Olmstead. But, her character isn't into Rudy. So she has to act distant without emotion. But, i do prefer Vilma Banky. Rudy is excellent in this film. :)
He had no problem attracting the women, but relationships are hard. The first wife was a lesbian which he had no idea. He wanted to give her a home and family. His second wife needed her own career to feel important. She was not into family and domestic life. Rudy wanted a wife instead of a business partner. But, she was never to give in. Rudy was sad and lonely.
Thank you again hun, and this time, i think i will not delete it. I have fussed enough with this video, and it doesn't look any different than before i know. Lol. =)

Livia, thank you hun. I think this movie shows Rudy's range. Even though there's no action, Rudy carries the film and makes it interesting.

Thank you. I like this movie for the fact that it shows Rudy's emotional range in a film.
To me, this film is unique in that it basically relies on Rudy to express these different emotions to carry the film through.

Yes. That is music by the film score composer John Barry. It is music from the film Indecent Proposal with Demi Moore and Robert Redford. =)
