Why do people who adore Dragon Quest hate final fantasy? Final Fantasy is hyped.. but it arent the games that do that. It are the gay fangirls and fanboys. Final Fantasy is one of the best RPG franchises along with Dragon Quest. They both added so much to the history of gaming. Cant we just agree about that?

だからオケでやると和声が濁りやすい。

でも、それは当時はファミコンの3和音という制約を克服するため­のすぎやまマジックだったんだよ。

それを除けば、この序曲は完全にワーグナーだね。

I actually love this music. Anyone that plays Dragon Warriors truly has a good video game taste. I just don't like that silence up to 0:36 but I can get over it. I think they should put this out on a CD. It might not get many sales in North America, but in Japan, I bet it would be a hit.

I was able to buy a CD of not just this, but the first 6 Dragon Quest Symphonies. You just have to look around. I haven't been able to find the 7th and 8th though. :(

I love the 4th symphony, but honestly I think the first was the best, but that could be because that's the first RPG I ever played on the Nintendo. The castle theme from #1 is just astounding.
