Weird, you look alot like my father..I used to fly with him in his PA-28-180 Cherokee when I was young..Unfortunately he was killed in a San Diego Sheriffs helicopter crash back in 97.
If you can't see out of the cockpit it's perfect for instrument training lol. When I was doing my instrument I absolutely hated wearing the hood. It hurts so much.
I had about 2 hours or so at age 8 and my dad (flight instructor) is going to teach me what I need to know in flight simulator at home for free and take me in a plane when I feel good enough for it :)
Hi im 10 and I'm not sure if i can see through the window but If you check out my channel you will see tons of FSX videos, which I use to practice flying. He should check it out! He'll sure be a future American Airlines former pilot.
no hes not flying that himself.. the actual pilot has a steer thing too.. and even he cant see over the dash, there is a gps in the plain.. and all you have to do to fly is sit there.... you can let go or the controles and it will go straight
@Brad5312 LOL You know, I think you're right. He couldn't really see out the window very well. Luckily, he had a capable pilot in the seat next to him that could. :)
i am ten and i fly mooneys for god sakes those r the fastest private single engine plane in the world so that shows piloting a plane comes from the desire of planes.the more you want to fly planes the more you want to practice and the more you practic the more sucsesful you will be so it does mater on wat kind of plane you fly because obviusly they r a ton diferent but the desire for that airplane.i reccomend you go to AirVenture 2010 next week i am gunna go co-pilot for my dad u can learn alot
Autopilots on, but anyway I would love to be in your position, I will get a plane like that when I am older, by the way to everyone who is boasting about getting a liscence and flying 737s, you are to young so shut up. If any kids out there want to learn how to fly, try x-plane.
Let's keep the comments nice, please. This is my child's video. Thanks. To those curious. While the camera was not rolling, he did take the plane for a nice, deep bank which scared his dad quite a bit. Dad was very thankful for the very calm and capable licensed pilot up front. lol. Auto-pilot: not on.
@wonderwoolies I'm 13 and I've done some touch and goes before and I used microsoft flight simulator X. Its ALOT different than a simulator because there is resistance on the controlls. If you start on simulators it is really weird getting used to the actual plane. I'd recommend just learning how to fly right in the plane. Maybe he will grow up to be an awesome pilot! Keep your dreams up kid!
