I am not saying that this video is fake but I do work in film production, and a few things stand out:
1)The majority of the footage has nothing to do with the theme. It shows guys running around with guns, shooting, etc. This is your basic establishing sequence.
2)Everyone hits their marks. The camera is fixed, yet frame composition is flawless. There is even a reverse shot of the camera - which proves that 2 cameras were used in this.
It seems like point 1 is actually in favour of an authentic shot, since that is exactly what would happen if the shot wasn't staged, people going about their business.
Regarding point 2, where is the reverse shot, I don't see it.
Frame 16 is nicely centered on the camera. You can see the camera cable feeding out the side of the hardcase, and out of frame. On top of the camera case, there is also a grip sand bag - for stability. The camera is on a tripod. The pov is hand-held.
That is how it appears.

you do know Arafat died of cancer right he did not have aids and did not sleep with little boys he had a wife and kids. he also won the nobel peace prize because he made peace with israel and ended the attacks on Israel with his group fatah. after he died fatah lost support because the people of palestine wanted to continue to kill the people of israel and there for elected Hamas members in the gaza strip. so the country is cut in half with two different groups ruling over it.

I am not saying that this video is fake but I do work in film production, and a few things stand out:
1)The majority of the footage has nothing to do with the theme. It shows guys running around with guns, shooting, etc. This is your basic establishing sequence.
2)Everyone hits their marks. The camera is fixed, yet frame composition is flawless. There is even a reverse shot of the camera - which proves that 2 cameras were used in this.
This would cost $150,000 to produce-identically.

It seems like point 1 is actually in favour of an authentic shot, since that is exactly what would happen if the shot wasn't staged, people going about their business.
Regarding point 2, where is the reverse shot, I don't see it.

Frame 16 is nicely centered on the camera. You can see the camera cable feeding out the side of the hardcase, and out of frame. On top of the camera case, there is also a grip sand bag - for stability. The camera is on a tripod. The pov is hand-held.
That is how it appears.
What is the need for point one? Its the establishing shot(s). Similar to showing the exterior of a house of a family in a sitcom before cutting to the interior.
They have nothing to do with the UN Ambulance.

3) Can we verify if this was an actual UN peacekeeper, or was the peacekeeper shot, and his vehicle commandeered?
4) In the video, it clearly shows 2 unarmed persons helping a 3rd into the back of the van after one of the persons bangs on the driver's door. After that, two other persons WITH weapons jump into the back.
