I'm running windows 7 and for whatever reason the kubuntu liveinstaller can't find my partitions. Can I use this to install kubuntu to unallocated space in my drive?
Are you using the installer off a Ubuntu Live CD? Or the downloaded one from the wubi site?
If you use it on a Live CD I believe you can only install the version that is on the Live CD.
If you get the Kubuntu Live CD it should work fine.
Though the internal links that Wubi uses may be down at the moment. If you are using the small download version off their website try contacting them, it may be something on their side.
