Without a doubt Andrea Bocelli is a GREAT SINGER. But the beat he gave this song is a bit too slow. Knowing Lecuona and his songs like I do, this song is supposed to have a faster beat. Having said that, every interpreter can do as he wishes to a song. Andrea Boclli's interpretation, for my taste is slow. Nothing wrong with his voice. God certainly blessed him with such a beautiful voice.

@benmysta, as I said in my comments, "for my taste it is too slow". You have your own taste. And regarding Andrea Bocelli, he has a GREAT VOICE and he sings anything beautifully. For my understanding music from my own country and from my personal friend (Yes I know, Lecuone is RIP) the song sounds very well with a quicker tempo.

I love this song and Andrea expresses it beautifully. I treminds me of beautiful times with my friend Jose in Mallorca over thirtyyears ago. Now in my mid fifties, a marriage and two children on, I still have the poppies he gave me when we parted.

No se donde está la excelencia en esta versión. Es de las más flojas que he escuchado nunca. La emisión vocal de Bocelli está llena aquí de problemas graves, voz descolocada, sin carne, sin mordiente. Ascenso al agudo apretado, ahogado y chillado. I love this song and Andrea expresses it beautifully. I treminds me of beautiful times with my friend Jose in Mallorca over thirtyyears ago. Now in my mid fifties, a marriage and two children on, I still have the poppies he gave me when we parted.

Es increible ver como se puede llegar a insultar, faltar el respeto y ser incapaces de aceptar una posición crítica por parte de algunas personas de esta cadena. Sin ningun atisbo de educación. Por muchas razones que ya expuse para mi, y tengo derecho a opinar, Bocelli está mal en esta versión de Amapola. Y por cierto no es uno de los mejores tenores actuales, ni de la historia, han habido centenares mejores que el.

No se donde está la excelencia en esta versión. Es de las más flojas que he escuchado nunca. La emisión vocal de Bocelli está llena aquí de problemas graves, voz descolocada, sin carne, sin mordiente. Ascenso al agudo apretado, ahogado y chillado. Una versión sin belleza tímbrica y sosa interpretativamente. El final apianado espantoso. Para olvidar.

A mi me parece una muy buena version de este tema musical, tal vez tu puedes hacerlo mejor que el o no alfonsorama1?? el experto señor critico.
Asi como un pesimo vino puede transformarse en un buen vinagre, asi tambien un pesimo cantante puede transformarse en un buen critico.
