  • The TOP Purple song, fast loud and ballsy !!!!

  • since I was a kid I always tripped with minute 1:48 to 2:30

  • So now we see where 80's metal got its inspiration...

  • DEEP FUCKING PURPLE ,PUSSIES !!! :D

  • This is proto-heavy metal right here.

  • @TheTerminator8675309 my thoughts exactly :)

  • drums kick ass!!!

  • poor drum kit!

  • я вырос с этой музыкой

  • @BIB949 that's exactly what i was thinking

  • A friend of mine (a drumer) who works with me, he was in his 20 in the 70's, told me that he and other drumers in the 70's, were crazy when they first heard this intro. They felt like shit in comparison of Paice and Cozy Powell (with the Stargazer intro). 2 masterpieces.

  • and they say that deep purple are only a hard rock band in my opinion this song is speed metal

  • @zeppelinrocks456 also if they are a hard rock band then what is soldier of fortune

  • @bakadarkartoflur Dick that's after gillan when the band was hi jacked by funk loving David Coverdale and the other doosh glenn hughs

  • @jrepnin why am i a dick

  • Comment removed

  • 0:00 reset button :D

  • Nice plagiarism DP but nice song ^.^.

  • @AZEIDJSKSQMM who, what song????????

  • @Bcapitalist Warpig - Rockstar.

  • awesome drummer

  • @deroesloarnoare ian paice legend

  • @deroesloarnoare ian pace!

  • @deroesloarnoare That's Ian motherfuckin Paice who are you talkin' about. What do you expect?

  • i'm nothing more than a sperm and i am fuckin in love with this song!

  • Awesome tune by an awesome band. No way man, it's an amazing album: listen to the throbbing bass on 'No One Came' again - so deep and dark. It might not be 'In Rock' or 'Machine Head' but the album rocks hard and good.

  • @thepurpleperil1 i think this album is better than in rock

  • Great track but a poor album I think. I remember being in Woolworths aged 9 in late 1971 unable to decide for a while which single to buy out of this and 'Jeepster' by T.Rex ; Jeepster won but I'm still glad as 'Life's a gas' is on the B side and I now have Fireball anyway

  • Deep Purple is my future childs favorite band. I put headphones on my balls every night and blast Fireball (seems most appropriate?) into my testicles. Im also 6 years old by the way.

  • @ohjames88 Lol, ha ha ha ha ; should kill the sperm count off

  • @ohjames88 HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAA!!!! Love such original comments!

  • @ohjames88 haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahhahahhha

  • @ohjames88 i'm ok with that

  • @ohjames88 if every guy did that with led zeppelin, queen, ACDC, bob dylan, deep purple, pink floyd etc.

    Rock would be revived!

  • @menjysmith1 ...and the world would be a better place

  • @ohjames88 you are a really really weird kid

  • @ohjames88 what if your future bride put her headphones on her cunt and blast Mariah Carey into it what then? your kids would likely be limp bizkit or korn fans.. sad..

  • @dikturner Absolutely, it's not where you coming from but what you're coming into. hahaha.

  • @dikturner

I was going to ask...how do you put headphones on a cunt..but I see a lot of cunts walking round with headphones on recently...so fucking loud everyone can hear the music..CUNTS!

  • @ohjames88 you are the future!!!

  • im only therteen and i luv dis!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111111111

  • Blackmore and Iommi !

  • wo wo wo! Blackmore goes slow? are you talking about the solo? That is not Blackmore, there is no guitar solo in this song..that is Roger Glover. it is a bass solo...don't doubt me I know for a fact. I am a bassist. This is one the earliest songs i learned to play on bass a life time ago.

  • @Manwithafan005 : god bless ya

  • Even though I bought this album many many years ago, it wasn't until 1 minute ago that I noticed the word "Fireball" written in the tail of the comet on the album cover. Slow or what?

  • @NickellNo1 Haha, maybe it was the wacky tobaccy?

  • @NickellNo1

Oh lol, I bought this album when it first came out in the early seventies. I never noticed till you pointed it out!.

  • I love the sound, more please

  • 2 people have arthiritus.

  • Que temazo loco!!! Copado!

  • Бодро, задорно, легко, красиво! Эта композиция всегда мне поднимает настроение. Браво "Дип Перпл"!

  • real music. hippies rock

  • The Golden light above you show me where you from.. all my love it's along way.. time to understand you.. things you tell me have never been told.. you're Gemini and that's what I like the most

  • @Morticia2705

     what are they...the alternative lyrics?

they sure aren't the right ones.

  • 2 guys are burned by a Fireball

  • At my ancient age of 46 I still love this. Even for aerobics.LOL

  • @Trimadian65 At least for neck muscles LOL

  • Speedball

  • its great to hear jon lord on the organ not many bands use them with that sound now any one that disagrees listen to sweet child in time thats just the best iv,e ever heard

  • it's me or in the start the voice hears very similar to paul di ano's voice

  • @tmuller1994 It's you.

  • This still have to be the best Purple song !

  • @aivopark This is the best song from Purple! Love it too! <3

  • I'm 1 min old, I like this band and that band and that other band.

Please thumb me up for listening to this and be so young.

That shit from today = you obvious just listen to whats on mtv.

  • That drummer is like FAST! Wow.

  • This group was 'the' 'space-trucking' originals. Great drums...everything!

  • This is a great song!

  • 2 people were hit by a fireball

  • Frisco speedballs

  • temaso de purple la voz de gillan es lo mas no habra un vocalista como el

  • Dude I'm a developing fetus and I love Deep Purple... How long must it take to realize that it doesn't matter how old you are? As long as you love the music, that's all that matters.

  • @GuitarLegend310 well fuckin said ......

  • @GuitarLegend310 do sperm cells count to?

  • @jamirosmajicrocks IT ALL COUNTS

  • @GuitarLegend310

Well, true, but personally I think its good to know young people like this music, without them, it eventually dies along with us older fans.

  • @metafis That's a good point and I agree. I just don't like that it's said a lot.

  • @GuitarLegend310 soooooo true man

  • @GuitarLegend310 hello developing fetus HEHE

  • I'm 2 years old and Deep Purple is my favourite band!

  • @WillyLee0 Dont lie, your birthday isnt yet

  • Man !! This Heavy Metal!!... Even Before Heavy metal came out Deep Purple Was already doin' It!!

  • @Rattlehead941 aaaaaaaahhahhahahhahah

  • @Sisterrmorphine What?...

  • @Rattlehead941 your commnet hahhahaa

  • @Rattlehead941 This isn't very heavy at all, certainly not Heavy Metal....thank God

  • @TheKenfig yep i know ,, i was just tryin´ to say that this is how heavy metal would sound later in the 80´s ,, according to the sound of rainbow (epecialy these), Judas priest , angel wich among many others... in few words... deep purple made us what we are :D

  • @Rattlehead941 What I was saying, and I don't know if you agree with me, is that I DON'T like 'heavy metal' cos it all sounds the same. I hate all the Saxon, Whitesnake, Blacksnake Lol, you name it , Def Leopard etc etc. I love Led Zeppelin, SOME AC / DC,. To me, you cant get much heavier than 'Live at Leeds' by The Who, but that is melodic and inventive, not all repetitive

  • @TheKenfig unfortunately... i don´t agree with u .. i love heavy metal.. however,, ilove this kind of music too.. Zep .. is my favorite one,. i´m a drummer .. and these bands,, like u said.. zep.. the who. deep .. pink floyd.. black sabbath .. etc etc.. had great drummers... and with regard to the heavy metal thing.,..it ain´t that repetitive... maybe you haven´t heard.. the different styles of the bands.. any way.. is how music makes u feel what matters.!..

  • Great track, great single ; poor album

  • This album suffers from the "a bit overhyped predecessor and successor" syndrome. This album is brutal!

  • I've been trying to record a cover of this all day. Needless to say, I lost my voice.

  • Check out the song Rock star, by Warpig (1970)

  • the one guy to dislike was one brave cunt!

  • Foda d+ essa musicaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • One kid was apparantly looking for firework by Katy Pary or however you spell that idiot's name and got blown away by this, so they disliked.

  • look it's obvious they don't make music like they use to...it's plain and simple like I tell everyone when the subject of music arise,I tell them all the time I live in the past çause 60's,70's&80's & maybe even early 90's music is the greatest ...I live & breathe it...

  • 1 fag clicked dislike!

  • I'm 18 and I fucking love this song.

  • @NightmareSnake doesnt matter your age to listen this music because 70's music is timeless

  • God, what a great song! It gives such a fuckin energy!

  • absolutny kanon rocka !!!

  • wild song, i can only hope I am never in a car when this plays.

  • @mesri3 There is no guitar solo in this song. If you're thinking about the 1:50 part, It's a bass solo.

  • @PokMadui is the guitar with distort at 1.50 actually glover? if it is then i stand corrected

  • @mesri3 Yes it is. I too thought it was a guitar, but then I saw a live video of this song and I was blown away.

  • @mesri3 its a bass solo

  • This was the first ever song from DP that I heard. Still the best.

  • 1 person should be hit by a fireball...

  • Did Ian Paice use double bass drum in the intro of this song?

  • @TailGunner01 No, single kick...

  • @TailGunner01 He did... He borrowed it from Keith Moon.

  • And I thought Highway Star was the first speed metal song. Killer tune.

  • Why is it that radio stations only ever play Strange Kinda Woman and never this absolute classic???

  • This track is cool and also it to me is like science fiction, music in billions of ways and I can listen to this track billions of times.

  • are a shit what other children hear since I'm a kid and I know what is to the real good music

  • Love it, love everything about it.

  • 2:11-2:15 is my favourite 4 seconds of music ever.

  • I have to say that my favourite band of today is Avenged Sevenfold but i usualy listen to these old ones as Deep Purple or Black Sabbath

  • Invent a fucking time machine all ready

  • In my opinion AC/DC and Deep Purple are one of the best rockbands in the world!!!

  • Ten-four good buddy to Retards Attempting Poetry. HA!HA!HA!HA!HA! Oh, man! That was a good one! HA!HA!HA!HA!HA! I'm sorry I just can't stop laughing, you know what I mean? HA!HA!HA!HA!HA! I'm outty!

  • The OLD ROCK and not this new motherfucker shit Yeah!!!

  • DEEP PURPLE---''FIREBALL''

  • One of their best, that's for sure...

  • no purple no iron maiden no ritchie no yngwie no rainbow no dio

  • This sounds a lot like Maiden. Kicks ass.

  • @cookiesnclams You mean Maiden sounds like this:)

  • this beat is crazy like hell!!!

  • watch?v=ZzpoEGJdEvs ;)

  • What a comments, LOL

  • This is the Born of Power Metal...

    p.s.

    always loved Paicey at 0:36-0:38...

  • @nazzare79 Power Metal???? WTF is that?? This SIR!!!!!!! is Deep Purple non of that nonsense, Sucio!!!

  • this is the prototype of speed metal, this was so much harder and faster than everything from sabbath, zeppelin or some one else.

  • @malmsteenfan faster ok but harder than blak sabbath?I mean listen to black sabbath (the song) harder than anything else that time (sorry if my english are bad ^^)

  • @malmsteenfan Prototype??? Oh Were you there when it came out?? By your Username I take a Lucky Guess That you were NOT. all I hearto compare the Mighty Deep Purple is Sabbath And Zeppelin!!! Have you heard of Virus??......Silence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats what my parents thought when i started to listen to this in 72

  • If you will pay attention actually to the words in this song, you can notice a connection between them and that solo... before the solo, the singer compares the woman in the song to a ghost, and I think the following solo parts reminding (at least to me) ghosts and halloween.....

  • This is all about the drummer.

He's all over the kit like Amphetamine the octopus.

  • @Drblooter99 Ian Paice. oldest member of the band. still plays this @ 68.

  • @ZMWinkler paice was the youngest member

  • @mjsmcd meant to hit 63 and oldest as in founding. Ian Gillain jumped on after Paice and Glover started it, and Paice was the only one always there.

  • @ZMWinkler Paice and Lord, you mean. Glover jumped in same time as Gillan.

  • Takes me back to a happy place and good times - love it love it love it - thanks for posting :)

  • Fuckin' mind-blowing riff, but disappointing solo. I was hoping Ritchie or Lord would go all out on this one.

  • @Kynatics FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK YOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @tremold2043 Oh c'mon! We both know that solo is just noise. Ritchie and Lord can come up with a better solo while sleepwalking for their midnight glass of milk. I'm a huge fan, but when I see a spade, I call it a spade.

  • GREAT SONG!...YEEEEEEAAAAAHH!!

  • I'm with fodnis,Could'nt have said it any better. You are right my man!

  • This is the dogs bollix! Love it!

  • classic song from a bunch of great musicians who were all in the "maestro" class - unlike today's plastic pre-packed puerile pap. Purple were great - and they're sttill rockin' today and still touring today.

  • @vic12657 YEAAAAAHHHHH IAN GILLAN WAS THE BEST SINGER FOR DEEP PURPLE AND RICHIE THE BEST GUITAR PLAYER EVER IAN PAICE A BEAST ON HIS DRUM KIT JOHN LORD THE MASTER OF HAMMOND ORGAN AND ROGER GLOVER ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCERS AND BASS GUITAR PLAYERS

  • I can almost hear you Raymund, unfortunately, I was only 6 when this album came out, but I made up for it in the late 80's when I was a DP fanatic. I have the "cassette tapes" to prove it!!

  • awesome timeless masterpiece rock

  • This kind of music.....Why has it all been thrown out to make room for new generation music? Why dont kids today just listen to this other than Retards Attempting Poetry? Fuck todays generation............. The 70's live on....

  • @fodnis3 I'm born in the mid 80's, can't get past the turbo energy of the decade before

  • @fodnis3 80`s too :DDD

  • @fodnis3 : I'm 15. When I was 3, my father always listened to Deep Purple, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and Metallica with me. I love this Bands, and I must cry, when I hear a Solo from Ian Paice, or a guitar Solo from Slash...That's MUSIC...But that shit from today...Forget it...I hate it !!!

Praise the Hardrock and Heavy Metal !!!

  • @AlexOnSeLine keep on rockin', dude! Ciao from Bologna, Italy

  • @frazordelta : I haven't a girlfriend...Because I want to marry ROCK !

  • @AlexOnSeLine Alex, your father taught you well.

  • @NickellNo1 : oh yes =)
